Receiver Setup Quick Tip Guide
Thank you for purchasing this assortment of quality audio products. Please refer to the instruction manual
included with each component for important safety information and to assist with your individual setup
requirements.
After putting your system together and turning it on, you need to configure the ONKYO HT-RC330 receiver
for the Bose® Acoustimass® 6 Series III speaker system.
NOTE: To view the receiver’s on-screen menu on your TV, you must connect your TV to the HDMI® OUT
connector on the receiver, and then make sure you select the appropriate input on your TV.
1. Press RECEIVER followed by SETUP.
2.Use
to select a menu, and then press ENTER.
3.Use
to select a target, and use
to change the setting.
4.Press SETUP to close the menu, press RETURN to go to the main
menu.
See the “Advanced Setup” section (pg. 29) in the HT-RC330 Instruction
Manual for more information.

1. Choose one of the device inputs on the A/V receiver to use for
the dock.

L (Left) audio output jacks to the selected R & L input jacks on
the receiver.

NOTE: To view high-quality video, connect the dock’s
COMPONENT video output jack to one of the assignable

assigning this input to a connected component.

4. Using the supplied R1 cable, connect the dock’s R1 jack to the
R1 jack on the receiver.
5. Connect the supplied AC adapter to the dock’s DC IN jack.
6. Insert your iPod/iPhone into the dock.

7. While pressing SETUP on the dock’s remote, press for the
component video connection, or press for the composite
video (default) connection.

8. Use the MODE button on the dock’s remote to set the OSD
(onscreen display) mode:
On - Displays playlists on your TV. Allows you to navigate
and select your music or video while looking at your
TV. While this mode is selected, the ONKYO logo is
displayed on your iPod/iPhone.
Off - Nothing is displayed on your TV. Use your iPod/
iPhone display to navigate and select contents.
9. To view videos, press MENU on the dock’s remote to select
the Video mode. Use the and buttons to select the type of
video, and then press SELECT.
