Parish Festival & Car Show ~TODAY

Prayer and Life Workshops (here at St. Joseph’s Parish)
How should I pray? How do I experience peace? Experience silence from within?
Learn to pray in more ways than one. It can change your life. Prayer and Life
Workshops (PLW) invites you to deepen your prayer life, practice silence and
meditate on the Word. The PLW will meet every Monday beginning Sept. 5th
from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the Parish Center. For more information, please contact

Mini Health Fair at Festival
Kaiser will have a booth at our Parish Festival and they will
be checking blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. and handing
out information on their services. They will also be givng
flu shots. Everything will be free.

40 Days for Life – Rosary, Vigil Mass and Kick-Off
Bishop Myron Cotta will celebrate our Diocese’s Opening Mass for the 40 Days
vigil on Saturday, September 24th at St. Philomene Parish in Sacramento at 5:30
pm. The Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 pm. A spaghetti dinner kickoff will follow
immediately afterward in the St. Philomene school gym. Everyone is invited to
attend and priests are invited to concelebrate with Bishop Cotta.
