T
he Holy and Most Precious Body and Blood of
Christ. When I became a priest it was hard for
me to celebrate Mass without tears coming to my eyes. There are still
times when I celebrate Mass that I am overwhelmed by the power of
the moment. When I celebrate Mass I know that I am not just me,
I am in a special way configured with Christ. It is not about power or
control, it is a grace-filled moment. That moment is something that all
who come to Mass share. Not everyone knows it or is able to see it,
but it is there nonetheless. God’s Holy Spirit comes down upon the
bread and wine and transforms them into the Body and Blood of
Christ. If that does not make you pause and give thanks, if that does
not touch your heart, then ask God to show you what is really
happening at Mass.

A Spiritual Gift for Dads

Divine Mercy Devotion
I received permission for one hour of meditation on the Passion of the Lord Jesus and for a certain humiliation.
But I was a little dissatisfied at not receiving permission for everything I had asked. When we returned home,
I dropped into the chapel for a moment, and then I heard this voice in my soul: “There is more merit to one
hour of meditation on My sorrowful Passion than there is to a whole year of flagellation that draws blood; the
contemplation of My painful wounds is of profit to you, and brings Me great joy.” (Diary, 369)

The Legion of Mary will be hosting its June Patricians Meeting on Monday, June 6, at 7pm in Hurtado Hall. The topic will
be “Bathrooms & Pedophiles” – a discussion of the Transgender Restroom Dilemma. The Patricians is an adult Catholic
discussion group where all kinds of current topics & the effect they have on your Catholic life are discussed. Come and

Cuando me hice sacerdote fue muy difícil para mí celebrar la misa sin
lágrimas en mis ojos. Todavía hay momentos en los que al celebrar la misa
estoy abrumado por el poder del momento. Cuando celebro misa Yo sé
que no soy sólo, soy de una manera especial configurado con Cristo. No se
trata de poder o control, es un momento lleno de gracia. Ese momento es
algo que todos los que vienen a misa comparten. No todo el mundo lo
sabe o es capaz de verlo, pero está ahí. El Espíritu Santo de Dios desciende
sobre el pan y el vino y los transforma en el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo.
Si eso no lo hace que tome un momento de pausa y dé gracias, o no toca
su corazón, entonces pídanle a Dios que les muestre lo que realmente está
sucediendo en misa.

Incluya su padre fallecido o vivo (o miembros de la familia / amigos) de los
bienes espirituales de una novena de nueve días de misas que comenzarán

basura AFUERA de la Iglesia?
Porque nadie quiere basura llevada al INTERIOR de la
iglesia. Un voluntario que gentilmente pasa alrededor de
una hora por día recogiendo los desechos de otros. Se ha
encontrado chicle, pañuelo de papel sucios por todas partes
y en las bancas, botellas de agua, bolsas de jugo, dulces y
envolturas, lápices de colores, cabello, brillo de labios…y la
lista continúa. Tenga cuidado de llevarse con usted lo que
trajo y disponer de toda la basura adecuadamente, hay
varios recipientes a las afueras de la iglesia o en el patio.

He recibido el permiso por una hora de
meditación de la Pasión del Señor Jesús por cierta
humillación. Pero estaba un poco desalentada por no haber
recibido el permiso para todo lo que había pedido. Cuando
volvimos a casa, fui a la capilla por un momento, y luego oí
esta voz en mi alma: “Tiene más mérito una hora de
meditación sobre Mi dolorosa pasión que la que hay por
todo un año de sacrificios flagelándose hasta sangrar ; la
contemplación a Mis dolorosas heridas les da más beneficio,
y me da gran alegría.” (Diario, 369 ) Ven a rezar con nosotros los Lunes de 8 a 10 pm en la capilla.
