Comenzamos este nuevo número de Soñadores con ganas de cambio. De movimiento, de acción.
Llenos de ilusión por salir a nuevos mercados, por conocer otras culturas y por poder adaptar nuestro

Con la ilusión intacta, nos acordamos del genio Darwin para recordarnos día a día, que sólo los que

UNA VUELTA A LO NATURAL

La Moda Ecológica se puso en boga en los años 80. Se
caracteriza por tener en cuenta las fibras y tintes naturales,
todo con apariencia de éstos últimos. Inicialmente fueron
necesarios cuatro colores como el verde, azul, ocre y marrón,
aunque en la actualidad la gama es más amplia.
Hoy en día, los países productores de algodón deben
hacer frente a las políticas industriales, especialmente las
relacionadas con el desarrollo de las fibras sintéticas. Por
otra parte, en los países más desarrollados existe desde
hace unos años una incipiente moda ecológica, que alerta del
hecho de que el algodón es una fibra que exige primero plaguicidas y luego procesos de tintorería nocivos para el medio
ambiente. Así, se estima que el 50% del consumo mundial de
plaguicidas procede de las plantaciones algodoneras. Y es
que, como indica la socióloga especializada en el análisis cultural de la moda, Susana Saulquin, la moda es un proceso
económico, industrial, social, psicológico y hasta político.
Una confrontación real de intereses económicos, que no
puede ocultar los perjuicios ambientales causados por
ambos tipos de producciones. Ante esta situación surgen
novedosas iniciativas, como la de la diseñadora Carmen Pichel, que hacen llegar lo natural a las pasarelas de un modo,
cuando menos, divertido y original. La creadora gallega trabaja con tejidos elaborados con flores naturales, registrados
bajo la marca Acrecencia, que es fruto de la estrecha relación que se establece entre la voz de la naturaleza y la sensibilidad de Carmen Pichel.
Tendencias seguidas por los jóvenes diseñadores españoles, que centran sus nuevas colecciones en novedosas
propuestas basadas en objetos irónicos y ecológicos. Pero
sin duda, uno de los mejores ejemplos de la “cultura verde”
de la moda lo traen los diseñadores daneses. De echo, así
lo demuestran tanto los trabajos de la escuela TEKO, como
los de Novotex, la primera empresa textil en aplicar la etiqueta de la flor.

initiatives, as the designer Carmen Pichel, who brought natural clothing to the catways in a way, at least, funny and
original. The Galician designer works with elaborated fabrics
with natural flowers, registered under the brand Acrecencia
which is the result of the close relationship between the
voice of the nature and sensitivity of Carmen Pichel.
The tendency followed by young Spanish designers,
focus their new collections in new proposals based on ironic
and ecological objects. But without a doubt, Danish designers bring one of the best examples of the "green culture"
of fashion. In fact, this is demonstrated by both school TEKO
works, and Novotex, the first textile company to apply the
flower label.

Cualquier material puede obtener la etiqueta de la flor,
sin exclusión de colores o fibras, tanto si son sintéticas
como naturales. Lo mismo ocurre con el calzado, a condición
de que cumpla los estrictos criterios y de que el nivel de residuos, de pesticidas o de otros agentes químicos sea inferior al nivel máximo permitido.
Antes de obtener la Etiqueta Ecológica, los productos
textiles se someten a diferentes pruebas para garantizar
que no se encogen y que los colores no se destiñen durante
el lavado o secado, y que son resistentes a la fricción, a la
transpiración y a la luz. En el caso del calzado, se
comprueba su resistencia al agua, al rozamiento y al desgaste de la suela.
Pero no sólo se somete a prueba

los consumidores, y el empleo de los tejidos ecológicos es
todavía limitado. A pesar de todo, el crecimiento de las ventas de productos “eco” en los últimos años parece abrir una
ventana de optimismo en el difícil camino hacia la conciencia ecológica

years seems to open a window of optimism on the difficult
road to environmental awareness.
