Then, leaving quite a long tail for sewing, cut yarn.
Thread yarn onto a yarn needle and slip the 8 sts
to yarn. Pull into a tight circle and fasten securely
on the inside. Then, using the same yarn, sew
back seam of hat using Side Seam technique
(see Basic Stitches).

Con ag. nº 4 y MERINO SPORT montar 76 p.
Trab. a p. bobo.
A 5 cm. de largo total, cambiar a las ag. nº 7 y la
calidad SOHO trab. a p. bobo menguando en la
1ª vta. 12 p. repartidos. Quedarán 64 p.
A 18 cm. de largo total, menguar en cada 2ª vta.
de la siguiente manera:
1ª vta. con menguados: Trab. * 2 p. juntos al
der. *. Repetir de * a * = 32 p.
2ª vta. con menguados: Trab. * 2 p. juntos al
der. *. Repetir de * a * = 16 p.
3ª vta. con menguados: Trab. * 2 p. juntos al
der. *. Repetir de * a * = 8 p.
A continuación, cortar el hilo dejando la hebra
un poco larga. Enhebrar una aguja lanera,
pasar el hilo por el interior de los 8 p., ajustar al
máximo y sujetar. Seguidamente, con el mismo
hilo coser la costura del gorro a p. de lado (ver
pág. de p. básicos).

INSTRUCTIONS
Using MERINO SPORT with smaller needles,
cast on 76 sts. Work Garter St.
When piece measures 2” (5 cm), change to
larger needles and SOHO and continue working
Garter St, decreasing 12 sts evenly along 1st
row [64 sts rem].
When piece measures 7 1/8” (18 cm), decrease
on every 2nd row as follows:
1st row with decreases: * K 2 tog *. Rep from
* to * [32 sts rem]
2nd row with decreases: * K 2 tog *. Rep from
* to * [16 sts rem]
