Commerce
Generally you could sey that in Havana exists
no significant areas of commerce, like in
western cities, and there is also no interest to
push them.
Stores in Havana ( Cuba) can generally divided in two categlories.
-Stores operating with CUC ( Pesos Convertibles and stores accepting only CUB ( Pesos
Cubanos)
Most of the the CUC- Stores are run by big
state- owned enterprises. The price level is
about the same as in middleeuropean cities.
These companies are strongly geared into
tourism, real estates, foreign investments etc.
The most powerful chain is Caracol, which focusses mainly on tourism:

The basic supply of the Habaneros is done
via a multiplicity of smaller and larger negocians (Bodegas), in which with the „Libreta „ or with pesos cubanos can be paid.
