PA-7550 Caller ID Telephone
User’s Guide
Thank you for purchasing Panacom’s telephone PA-7550.
Please read the manual carefully before operating.
Introduction
Thank you for your purchasing the multi-functional telephone which
adopts the up-to-the-minute integrated circuit, high quality liquid
crystal display with superior craftwork and stable capability. Please
read the manual carefully for proper use.
Installation methods, Cautions and Daily Maintenance
1. The telephone should be installed in dry, ventilated, and nongas-erosive places.
2. Insert one end of the line cord to the line jack of the base and the
other end to the wall outlet of exchange.
3. Avoid strong compact to the telephone. the telephone should
not be put in high temperature, thick dust and moist places for
better use.
4. Please keep the telephone clean to protect your health.
5. Apply for the caller ID from your local telecom office.
Main Functions:
1. Caller ID finction, FSK/DTMF system compatible with auto-detection.
2. Up ot DOWN key to check, Delete, outgoing check, Redial function.
3. Local area code setting.
4. Auto IP rapid dialing function
5. Calendar and real-time clock and week display.
6. Single key for redial number.
7. Anti-lightning protection
8. P-T dialing mode compatible
System Set Up.
In on-hook state, press SET to enter to SET mode. LCD will display “SET 1 DATE”, you can press UP or DOWN key to select the
different item to set. When you choose one item. Press SET key

again to go into the setting and press UP or DOWN key to change
the default setting. When finished, press SET to confirm and go into
the next item setting. You can leave the set up mode at any time
with DEL key.
Date and Time Setting
In on hook state, press SET key, LCD will display “SET 1 DATE”,
press SET to confirm. Press SET again, the digit for year will flash,
use UP or DOWN key to edit the year, then press SET to confirm and
carry on the next step set the month. Repeat the same operation to
set the month, day and the real time clock. When finished, LCD will
display the correspond calendar.
The Area Code Setting
In on hook state, Press SET key then press UP key, LCD will display
“SET 2 CODE” , then press SET to confirm. LCD will display “CODE:
---“ and “ - ” will be flash to indicate to set first area code. Press
UP or DOWN and then press SET key to select the first or second
area code or edit it from 0 to 9, and press SET to enter. Press UP or
DOWN to adjust the area code number and press SET to confirm.
Repeat this operation to the last digit.
P-CODE Setting
In on hook state, press SET key then press U key twice, LCD will display SET 3 P OCDE, press SET to confirm, LCD will display LCODE
--- , and “ – ” will flash to indicate to set first long distance code or
press UP or DOWN key to select the second ‘ – ’ press SET key to
confirm. Repeat this operation to the last digit.
AUTO-IP Setting.
In on hook state, press SET key and then press UP key three times,
LCD will display SET 4 AUTO IP, press SET to confirm, and LCD will
display AUTO IP OFF and the OFF will flash. Press UP or DOWN key
to turn ON or OFF the auto IP dialing function. if you select the AUTO
IP ON, press SET to confirm and the LCD will display INPUT CODE,
you can input the IP service number, card number and the security
number with DEL key to correct the input mistake. When finish, press
SET to exit, after you turn to the auto IP function, every time in –

hook state, you dial out the phone number the system will auto add 0
aheaded with phone number and dial out. or dial back call aheaded
with “0” the stored IP code will dialed first and ahead with --- display
and flash. For example : store IP NO. 17909. if you have stored the
IP No. 17909 according above proceeding
Tone/ Pulse Dialing mode
In on hook state, press SET key and then press UP key for four
times, LCD will display SET 5 P-T, then press SET to confirm. LCD
display “TONE”, press UP or DOWN to choose PULSE or TONE, after finished, Pulse or Tone dialing way set and confirmed, press SET
key to confirm and exit.
Alarm Clock Setting
In on hook state, press SET key and press DOWN key, LCD will display SET 7 RLERL, This function is not available.
Incoming call receiving
When receiving a phone call, the telephone will detect the FSK or
DTMF format and display the calling number. if this is a FSK format
caller ID signal, the current date and time display will also be updated. If this is a DTMD format caller ID signal, the current date and
time will not be changed. if this is a newly coming call, the “NEW”
icon will be displayed. if the incoming call is a repeat number, the
“REP” icon will be displayed. if the incoming call is a private call, the
icon “----P---” will be displayed. if the incoming call is out of area,
the icon “----0----” will be displayed. if a wrong number comes in,
the Error will be displayed ‘----E----’.
Check incoming calls
You can pick up the handset then use UP or DOWN key to check the
incoming call information including phone number, date and time,
press UP or DOWN key for more than 3 second to quickly check
incoming calls.
Dial back the incoming calls
If you can back a local call, you can direct dial back with REDIAL key.
If you want to dial back a long distance call, you can press REDIAL key
twice, the phone system will automatically add 0 ahead of the phone

number and dial back, should be press REDIAL key and directly pick up
the handset at once (or the phone number can not be dial back).
Check Outgoing calls
Press “OUT” key when handset is on or off the Base.
LCD displays the last dialed number with conversation time.
Press “OUT” Key again to view more outgoing numbers.
In the end of list, LCD displays ---- END---- indicating all the numbers in Outgoing list has been Checked.
Press UP Key for 3 seconds, you can quickly check Outgoing Calls.
Delete Function
Inset mode, DEL key is used to quit set.
When you use pre-dial function, DEL is used to correct the input mistake.
When you check the incoming call memories, DEL key is used to delete the unwanted memory. If you press DEL key and do not release
for more than 4 second, all memories will be deleted
When you check the dialed call memories, DEL key is used to delete
the unwanted memory. If you press DEL key and to not release for
more than 4 second, all memories will be deleted.
On hook: Hand off the handset
Off hook: Pick up the handset
Dial number and conversation:
Pick up the handset and hear the dial tone then directly dial your
desire number.
Redial
If your line is busy, hang off or press FLASH key. After a while, pick
up the handset.
After hearing the dialing tone, Press “RD” key.
The last number dialed will be dialed out.
Trouble Shooting
No voice:Check if the handset is on the phone or line is broken

Caller ID function not working properly: Check with your telephone service provider that your caller ID service is active. You have
answered the call before “TWO” Rings.

Métodos de instalación , precauciones y mantenimiento diario
1. El teléfono debe estar instalado en un lugar seco y ventilado.
2. Inserte un extremo del cable de línea a la toma de la línea de la base
y el otro extremo a la toma telefónica.
3. El teléfono no se debeestar en lugares de temperatura alta , ni con
el polvo ni lugares húmedos para un buen funcionamiento.
4. Por favor, mantenga el teléfono limpio.
5. Solicite el sevicio de identificador de llamadas a la oficina local de
telecomunicaciones.
Funciones principales:
1. Identificador de llamadas, sistema de FSK / DTMF compatible con auto- detección.
2. Revisar , eliminar llamadas salientes o entrantes, función de rediscado.
3. Ajuste del código de área local .
4. Función de marcación rápida automática de IP
5. Calendario y reloj en tiempo real y visualización de la semana .
6. Una sola tecla para volver a marcar el número .
7. Protección contra rayos
8. Marcación por P -T.
Configuración del sistema
Con el teléfono colgado, pulse SET para ingresar al modo de Programación. El LCD mostrará “ SET 1 DATE”, puede pulsar UP o DOWN
para seleccionar los diferentes elementos para ajustar. Al seleccionar
un elemento, presione de nuevo SET para entrar en el ajuste y pulse
UP o DOWN para cambiar la configuración predeterminada. Cuando
haya terminado, presione SET para confirmar y entrar en el próximo
ajuste del elemento. Puede dejar el modo de configuración en cualquier momento con la tecla DEL.
Fecha y la Hora
Con el teléfono colgado, pulse la tecla SET , la pantalla LCD mostrará

“ SET 1 DATE” , pulse SET para confirmar. Presione SET de nuevo , el
dígito para el año parpadea, utilice UP o DOWN para editar el año , y
luego presione SET para confirmar y continuar con el siguiente paso y
ajustar el mes. Repita la misma operación para ajustar el mes , el día
y el reloj de tiempo real. Cuando haya terminado, el LCD exhibirá el
calendario correspondiente .
Configuración del código de área local
Con el teléfono colgado, pulse la tecla SET y pulse la tecla UP, la
pantalla LCD mostrará “ SET 2 CODE” , y luego presione SET para
confirmar. LCD mostrará “ CODE : ---” y “- “ parpadea para indicar
establecer primero el código de área. Pulse UP o DOWN y presione
la tecla SET para seleccionar el primer o segundo código de área o
editarlo de 0 a 9 , y pulse SET para confirmar. Presione UP o DOWN
para ajustar el número de código de área y pulse SET para confirmar.
Repita esta operación para el último dígito.
Ajustar P- CODE
Con el teléfono colgado, pulse la tecla SET y luego presione dos veces la tecla U, el LCD mostrará SET 3 P CODE, pulse SET para confirmar, la pantalla LCD mostrará LCODE ---, y “- “ parpadeará para
indicar establecer primero el código de larga distancia o pulse UP o
DOWN para seleccionar el segundo ‘-’ pulse la tecla SET para confirmar. Repita esta operación para el último dígito.
Ajustar AUTO -IP.
Con el teléfono colgado, pulse la tecla SET y luego la tecla UP tres
veces, la pantalla LCD mostrará SET 4 AUTO IP, pulse SET para confirmar y la pantalla mostrará AUTO IP OFF y el apagado parpadeará.
Presione UP o DOWN para activar o desactivar la función de marcación por IP automático. si selecciona AUTO IP ON, presione SET para
confirmar y la pantalla LCD mostrará CODE INPUT, puede introducir
el número de servicios IP, número de tarjeta y el número de seguro
con la tecla DEL para corregir el error de entrada. Cuando termine,
presione SET para salir, después de cumplir con la función de IP automátic , cada vez que en - con el teléfono colgado, marque el número
de teléfono, el sistema automático agregará 0 antes del número de
teléfono y marcará.

Modo Marcación Tono / Pulso
Con el teléfono colgado, pulse la tecla SET y presione la tecla UP
cuatro veces, la pantalla LCD mostrará SET 5 PT, a continuación, pulse SET para confirmar. Pantalla LCD “TONE “, pulse UP o DOWN
para seleccionar TONE o PULSE, después pulse la tecla SET para
confirmar y salir.
Alarm Clock Ajuste
En el estado colgado, pulse la tecla SET y presione la tecla DOWN
dos veces , la pantalla LCD mostrará SET 7 RLERL.
Recibiendo una llamada entrante
Cuando se recibe una llamada telefónica, el teléfono detectará el formato FSK o DTMF y mostrar el número que llama, si esto es una señal de identificación de llamadas formato FSK, también se actualizará
la visualización de la fecha y hora actuales. Si esto es una señal de
identificación de llamadas formato DTMD, no se cambiarán la fecha y
hora actuales. si se trata de una llamada nueva que viene, se mostrará
el icono de “NEW “, si la llamada entrante es un número de repetido,
se mostrará el icono “REP”. si la llamada entrante es una llamada privada aparecerá el icono “ ---- P --- “. si la llamada entrante es de fuera
de la zona, se mostrará el icono “---- 0 ----”. si un número equivocado
llega, el error se mostrará como “ ---- E ---- ‘ .
Comprobar las llamadas entrantes
Usted puede levantar el auricular y utilice UP o DOWN para comprobar la información de la llamada entrante, incluyendo el número de
teléfono, fecha y hora , pulse UP o DOWN durante más de 3 segundos
para comprobar rápidamente las llamadas entrantes.
Marque un número desde las llamadas entrantes
Si es un número local, puede marcar de nuevo con la tecla REDIAL .
Si desea volver a marcar una llamada de larga distancia, puede pulsar la tecla REDIAL dos veces, el sistema telefónico automáticamente
añadirá 0 delante del número de teléfono y marcará de nuevo.
Comprobar las llamadas salientes
Presione la tecla “OUT “ cuando el auricular está encendido o apagado de la Base.

El LCD muestra el último número marcado con el tiempo de conversación.
Pulse el botón “ OUT” de nuevo para ver los números salientes.
Al final de la lista , la pantalla LCD muestra ---- END ---- indicando
todos los números de la lista de salida se han sido mostrados.
Eliminar
Cuando se utiliza la función de marcación previa, DEL se utiliza para
corregir el error de entrada.
Al revisar las memorias de llamadas entrantes, se usa la tecla DEL
para borrar la memoria deseada. Si pulsa la tecla DEL y no suelta
durante más de 4 segundos, se borrarán todas las memorias

Remarcar
Si la línea está ocupada, colgar o pulsar la tecla FLASH. Después de
un tiempo, levante el auricular .
Después de escuchar el tono de marcar , presione la tecla “REDIAL “,
el último número se marcará .
Solución de problemas
Sin tono: Compruebe que esten todos lso cables conectados correctamente.
Identificador de llamadas no funciona : Verifique con su proveedor
de servicio telefónico que el servicio de identificación de llamadas
está activo.

Terms and Conditions
1. PANACOM warrants the operation of this product to be free
from any manufacturing and/or material defect for a period of 12
months from the date of purchase by the user.
2. This warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement of this
product, according to our own criterion, free of charge within the
stipulated term and it does not extend to consequential or incidental damages to other products that may be used with this unit.
3. The warranty shall be voided in the following cases: a) repair or
attempt to repair by third parties not authorized by the company. b)
in case of performing any type of cut in connection cables, plugs,
connectors, or other adapters different from the original ones provided by the company.
4. To make this warranty effective, you shall contact the Authorized
Service Center of your country and they shall carry out the pertinent procedure; said information is available at www.panacom.
com. In order to start the necessary procedure to get said warranty, you shall hand in the Original Purchase Invoice where the
purchase date, dealer name and product identification shall be
stated clearly.
5. Transportation, freight, stay and/or insurance expenses, if any,
are not covered by this warranty.

GARANTIA INTERNACIONAL
Términos y Condiciones
1. PANACOM garantiza el funcionamiento de este producto ante cualquier defecto de fabricación y/o vicio de material por el término de 12
meses contado a partir de la fecha de compra por parte del usuario.
2. Esta garantía se limita a la reparación y/o reemplazo de este producto, a nuestro criterio, sin cargo alguno dentro del plazo de vigencia y no se extiende a daños concecuentes o incidentales hacia
otros productos que fueran utilizados con esta unidad.
3. La garantía queda anulada ante: a) reparación o intento de reparación por terceros no autorizados por la compañía. b) en el caso de
realizar cualquier tipo de corte de los cables de conexión, fichas, conectores, u otros adaptadores distintos de los originales de fábrica.
4. Para hacer valer esta garantía se deberá remitir al centro de servicios autorizado de su país quienes gestionarán la misma, dicha
información se encuentra www.panacom.com. Para gestionar dicha
garantía deberá presentar la Factura Original de compra en la cual
deberá constar claramente la fecha de compra, nombre del comercio e indentificación del producto.
5. No quedan cubiertos por esta garantía gastos de traslado, flete,
estadía, y/o seguro si los hubiera.
