This email is a reminder about STAAR testing next week—May 9

This email is a reminder about STAAR testing next week—May 9-13, 2016
Monday, May 9th--6th and 7th grade take the Math test. 8th graders who did not
pass the Math test in March will also take their Math re-test.
Tuesday, May 10--6th and 7th grade take the Reading test. 8th graders who did not
pass their reading test in March will also take the Reading re-test.
Wednesday, May 11th-8th grade Science test; and makeups for 6th and 7th graders
who missed Monday's or Tuesday's test.
Thursday, May 12th--8th grade Social Studies test; and makeups for 6th and 7th
graders who missed Monday's or Tuesday's test.
Friday, May 13th--Makeup testing for 8th graders who missed Wed. or Thurs. tests.
Remember:








Be sure to eat a good breakfast.
Dress in layers; rooms can be chilly.
Bring a book, only reading or resting allowed after finishing test.
No pajamas, blankets, stuffed animals, or slippers allowed.
Lunches will be grab and go in the Cafeteria, or brought from home.
Please do not bring special lunches to your students. We cannot
interrupt testing for deliveries.
Please do not check your child out early. We resume regular classes
when testing is over.
Student phones must be turned off and in their lockers, or kept at the
teacher’s desk during testing.

Octavo, retomar Matematicas (para los estudiantes que no
pasaron el primer examen)
Martes, 5/10/2016- Sexto y Septimo, Lectura
Octavo, retomar Lectura (para los estudiantes que no pasaron
el primer examen)
Miercoles, 5/11/2016-Octavo, Ciencia
Sexto y Septimo, Lectura y Matematicas (para los
estudiantes que no lo tomaron)
Jueves, 5/12/2016-Octavo, Estudio Sociales
Sexto y Septimo, Lectura y Matematicas (para los estudiantes
que no lo tomaron)
Viernes, 5/13/2016-Octavo, Matematicas, Lectura, Ciencia, y Estudios Sociales (para
los estudiantes que estuvieron ausentes y no tomaron los examenes)
Recuerden:








Coman un buen desayuno.
Traigan un sueter; los cuartos pueden estar frios.
Traigan un libro, solo se permite leer o descansar despues de terminar
el examen.
No se permiten pijamas, pantunflas, cofijas, y muñecos de peluches.
Los lonches seran distribuidos en la cafeteria y los estudiantes
regresaran al salon para comerselos, o el estudiante puede traer su propio
lonche.
Porfavor no traigan lonches especiales para sus hijo/hija los dias de
examenes. No podemos interrumpir las clases durante examenes.
Porfavor no saque a su hijo/hija temprano de la escuela. Despues de
los examenes resumares a nuestro horario normal de clases.
Los telefonos de los estudiantes tendran que estar apagados y en sus
lockers o tendran que dejarlos con la maestra/o durante el examen.
