Acompáñanos y comparte tu voz o instrumento
musical!

Next Trip to Honduras is January 20-27!
Prayerfully Consider Joining Us
Still looking to check “Make a mission trip.” off your “bucket list”?
Can’t ignore any longer that quiet voice urging you to leave your comfort zone and share
God’s love in another culture?
Want to see the face of God in those who have very little financial means, but are willing
to share it all and are thankful for all of God’s blessings?
Tired of Indiana winters? Want to live a week in 75° and sunny in January?
Would you like to experience a simpler life and not worry about your cell phone, Facebook
and email for a week?
Would you like to celebrate the Eucharist with our brothers and sisters in Honduras?
Do you feel like you need to reprioritize your financial and spiritual values?
Would you like to experience God’s beauty in mountain vistas, bright starry nights and the
sights, sounds and smells of nature?
Want to experience morning rush hour as a 5 minute walk on a cobblestone street to a
400 year old church?
Would you like to enjoy Honduran music at Mass and as entertainment?
Bottom Line: When we try to make a difference in the world, sometimes the world makes
a difference in us.
All of this is possible, if you would like to join us on our visit to our Twinning parish of
San Francisco de Asis in Texiguat, Honduras from January 20-27, 2015.
FYI...questions you may have...
Cost is $1000-1200. This includes air fare, food, lodging, and travel expenses.
What do we do:
Celebrate our common faith with others in daily masses
Share common meals and cultural celebrations
Participate in common projects... teach English to school children and adults, visit
the sick and poor. Work, pray, sing, dance, laugh and share our faith.
Brochures are available in English and Spanish in both vestibules that explain most details. First deposit to hold your spot with the group is due October 20, 2014. Pay
by check at the parish office or online with the Holy Spirit website under “Online Giving”. Select “Make a New Gift”. Select “Honduras Trip Payment”. Select “One Time”.
Enter “$300” as initial down payment.
