ABOUT KINGSLEY SCHOOL
Some schools are lucky enough to have pleasant grounds. Others are to be
found in an attractive part of the country.
In this respect, Kingsley is doubly blessed. Set in 25 acres of beautiful playing
fields and woodland in the attractive market town of Bideford beside the
River Torridge. The school is also located in the heart of North Devon, one of
England’s most popular and picturesque regions.
North Devon is known for its rolling green hills, dramatic coastlines, long sandy
beaches (safe for bathing) which are a paradise for surfers and the beautiful
Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks…no wonder North Devon attracts visitors
and holidaymakers from all over the UK and abroad throughout the year.
Kingsley School prides itself on it’s excellent facilities which include: netball

• RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION
PROGRAMME: THIS PROGRAMME
IS ON FULL BOARD RESIDENTIAL
ACCOMMODATION. Three smartly
appointed homely boarding houses
complete the accommodation.
There is a mix of single and double
rooms, and all the houses include
shower and toilet facilities, kitchen,
lounge and WIFI.

• The students travelling by themselves
will travel without a monitor
• 20 English lessons per week

LEARNING
• We always aim to provide a high
level of teaching and learning, using
a variety of methods and materials.
All our courses include 20 hours of
quality English tuition. Each lesson
lasts about 60 minutes
Our teachers work with their students to:
• Develop reading, writing, listening
and speaking skills
• Learn grammar and vocabulary
• Use realistic situations to practise and
improve fluency
• Analyse English language through
text and dialogue
• Highlight pronunciation problems
and practise more natural English
usage
• Develop self study techniques and
build confidence in error correction
• At the end of the course, each
student receives an attendance
certificate with their current level
indicated and a short report with
linguistic advice from their main
teacher

WILL FLY BACK HOME FROM LONDON.
