Pastor’s Corner
Dear friends, Janet Ueberchaer was so
kind and generous enough to sponsor
the St. Matthew stained glass window.
She was sick at the time she made
the decision. It was our hope to have
the stained glass installed before she
passed away. Unfortunately, we were
not able fullfill this wish.
Though she is not physically
with us, we want to show our
apreciation for her generous
contribution. We also thank her
family members for their input to the
design of the window. We pray that
God pour his blessings upon them
while he receives their mother into
his kingdom.
All the evangelists have a
symbol. The image that we see by St.
Matthew’s left shoulder is a winged
man (angel). Tradition links the
symbols of the evangelists with visions
in Ezekiel chapter 1 and Revelation
chapter 6.
The altar flowers
were donated in
loving memory of
Emily Naughtin,RIP
By her family and loving
friend Donna Wall

Treasure Report
We plan financially to go on
vacation, we plan financially for the
education of our children, we make
financial plans for our retirement; do
we plan financially to support God’s
work in our parish community? In
gratitude for the gifts we receive from
God, 28% of our registered families
and those visiting made a joyful
return to the Lord to assist in the
support of God’s work in our parish
community. Let’s increase this
participation to 100%.

asistencia a Misa. La obligación de asistir a Misa los
domingos y días de obligación es grave. Esto no es
simplemente una cuestión de la póliza de nuestra parroquia.
La Ley Divina establece esta expectativa en los Diez
Mandamientos.
