She was sick at the time she made the decision. It was our hope to have the stained glass installed before she passed away. Unfortunately, we were not able fullfill this wish. Though she is not physically with us, we want to show our apreciation for her generous contribution. We also thank her family members for their input to the design of the window. We pray that God pour his blessings upon them while he receives their mother into his kingdom. All the evangelists have a symbol. The image that we see by St. Matthew’s left shoulder is a winged man (angel). Tradition links the symbols of the evangelists with visions in Ezekiel chapter 1 and Revelation chapter 6. Matrimony: Arrangements must be made at least six months prior to the wedding date. Couples must schedule an appointment with the parish priest to secure a date on the parish calendar and begin preparation. Hospital/Homebound/Nursing Homes: Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion take communion to the homebound. Family members should call the parish office to inform us about those who are ill. Necesitamos un par de voluntarios para ayudar en aspirar la carpeta de la iglesia. Esto sólo requiere de una hora y media cada lunes. Si quiere ayudar, lo esperamos a las 7:00am. Gracias! Que significa ser un Católico activo? Para ser considerado “activo", feligreses deben estar registrados en la parroquia, asistir a Misa con fidelidad, apoyar la vida de la parroquia y usar el sistema de sobres para su contribución a la iglesia. El sistema de sobres es la única forma en que nos damos cuenta de su asistencia a Misa. La obligación de asistir a Misa los domingos y días de obligación es grave. Esto no es simplemente una cuestión de la póliza de nuestra parroquia. La Ley Divina establece esta expectativa en los Diez Mandamientos.
