Please plan your Christmas Mass wisely right now.
Whatever you do, do not attend the 3:00 pm Mass Eve; last
year 2679 people attended in the Church and in the Great
Hall of the Parish Center. Those Masses are attended by lots
of folks who come once a year, and so if you are reading
these words, you come regularly. So, please attend a
different Mass. Since overloading the Church is dangerous
and, in fact, illegal, police will help us close the Church when
it fills to the capacity of 1,600. Others who arrive will be
directed to our Great Hall in the Parish Center where Mass
will also be celebrated at 3:00.
So, double Masses at 3:00 and 5:00 (2611 attended
the 5:00 pm Masses last year) in the Church and Great Hall.
Warning: once the Church fills, we are going to start Mass
even if it might be 2:30 or so; when the plane is full, we’re
going to take off!
Next Mass is at 7:00 pm but only in the Church.
Then Spanish Mass at 9:00 pm in the Church.
Then Midnight Mass in the Church at Midnight,
12:00 am (warning—2100 attended!).
Christmas Day only in the Church: Masses in English
at 9:45 and 11:30; Mass in Spanish at 1:15.
Please come on Christmas Day, because it’s a much more
peaceful experience.
Por favor les pedimos planear su Misa de Navidad
sabiamente ahora mismo. Sin importar lo que hagan, no
asistan a la Misa de Vísperas a las 3:00 pm; el año pasado
2679 personas asistieron a la Iglesia y en el Gran Salón del
Centro Parroquial. En esas Misas participan muchas personas quienes asisten una vez al año, y si ustedes están leyendo estas palabras, ustedes asisten regularmente. Así

This is a marriage preparation and enrichment process for
Catholics who find themselves in civil marriages or married in
another faith without proper dispensation. Saturday, January

Tax Reminder!! All donations to the church received or postmarked
by December 31, 2015, will be acknowledged as donations in 2015
for income tax purposes. Gifts of stock, real estate, estate bequests,
annuities, or charitable remainder trusts can also be donated to the
church (contact Mark Smith for more information); however, the
transfer must be completed by December 31, 2015, to be included in
this tax year. Donations received in the office or postmarked after
December 31, 2015, will be acknowledged as 2016 donations.

Diocesan Missionary Seminary Diocese of Dallas will be
hosting a Christmas concert here at St. Francis of Assisi on
Wednesday, December 30th at 7:00 p.m. Tickets and 2016
personal calendars will be sold after Masses this weekend and
Dec. 26-27 in the Foyer. The cost is $20.00.
2015 Contribution Statements for tax purposes will only be going out
by email in January. These will go to the email address we have on
file for the person you indicated as your head of household on your
