El cartel de este año es muy bueno y es la primera
vez que el Festival de Bajo Coste concede el sello
oficial de calidad ambiental para los eventos, lo
que pone Benidorm en el mapa como lugar del
“festival” para este verano.
Is Tropical y Placebo acaban de confirmar su
presencia en el Low Cost Festival de Benidorm
que se celebrará este verano, el 27, 28 y 29 de julio
de 2012 en la Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor.
Esta es la tercera confirmación de los grupos
para el festival en 2012, después de confirmar
ya otros grupos tales como La Casa Azul, Iván
Ferreiro, The Right Ons, Second, El Columpio
Asesino, La Habitación Roja, Fuel Fandango, The
New Raemon, Bigott, The Zombie Kids, We Are
Standard, Supersubmarina, Triángulo de Amor
Bizarro y Varry Brava. Is Tropical traerá originalidad
a la fiesta con su “pop contagioso” y la danza, y
la banda sueca The Sounds traerá algo nuevo y
fresco para el Festival. Mientras tanto, la banda
Placebo de Londres han confirmado su actuación
en el Festival como su única fecha para festivales

of Events at the Event Venue Serretta, Amanda to
chat about some options available and what many
of her clients are looking for. Traditionally couples
would book into a hotel near the coast and hold

the sunshine – but as we know hotel prices can be

The Family Medical Centre Albir
The Family Medical Centre is a brand new, purpose
built medical centre situated in Albir.
Owned by Amanda Collins and Dawn
Blythe it provides all the services
normally found in a health centre at
home in the U.K. In addition there
are a wide range of consultants,
specialists and therapists on site. In
many cases this means that patients
can avoid having to make a trip
to the local hospital outpatients
department.
Practice Nurse Amanda Collins and
Midwife Dawn Blythe are well known
health care professionals in the area.
They are joined by Dr.An to provide
comprehensive Nursing, Midwifery and
G.P. Services.
Priority for Amanda and Dawn was
that the centre should be not only
professional, but also friendly and
welcoming. Another concern was
affordability. At 38 Euros for G.P., Nurse
or Midwife Consultations,
the Family Medical Centre makes private
health care within reach of most people.

Visiting the Centro de Salud (Spanish
N.H.S.) normally involves the patient
having to pay for their own interpreter,
unless fluent in Spanish. Therefore,
for the average fee charged by an
interpreter, you can have a private
consultation with a doctor, nurse or
midwife in your own language.
The centre itself is modern, fully
computerised and has been equipped
to the highest standard. As soon as
you enter the Family Medical Centre
