INFANT BAPTISMS
For children under 8 years of age, the sacrament is celebrated the
FIRST Sunday of the month at 2:00 pm. The parents must register in
the parish office at least 4 weeks prior to the baptism. Both parents
and godparents are expected to attend one catechetical session in
advance, on the Wednesday before the baptism, at 7:00 pm.
SACRAMENTS OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION
Before being fully initiated into the sacramental life of the Church,
children over the age of 8 will need catechetical preparation through
the RCIC process. Teenagers and adults will participate in separate
RCIA processes.
CONFIRMATION and COMMUNION
For those already baptized, preparation for these Sacraments will take
place according to the person’s age and knowledge of the Catholic
Faith. For further information contact the Office of Faith Formation
Program.
MARRIAGES
Couples should contact the parish office at least six months in
advance to make the proper arrangements for the Sacrament of
Matrimony.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Please contact the parish office.
RECONCILIATION
A priest is available for Confessions on Saturday afternoon from
3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. You can also make an individual appointment.

EL BAUTISMO DE NIÑOS
Solamente para los niños menores de los 8 años de edad, se celebra
el sacramento el SEGUNDO y el CUARTO domingo del mes a las
2:00 pm. Es preciso que los padres se inscriban en la parroquia por
lo menos 4 semanas antes del bautismo. Ambos padres y padrinos
deberán asistir a una instrucción catequética, la noche del Miercoles
anterior al bautizo a las 7:00 pm.
SACRAMENTOS DE LA INICIACION CRISTIANA
Con el propósito de participar plenamente en la vida sacramental de
la Iglesia, los niños mayores de los 8 años de edad, necesitarán
prepararse en el proceso de Iniciación Cristiana Para Niños. Los
jóvenes y los adultos se preparán separadamente en el proceso del
RICA.
CONFIRMACION Y COMUNION
La preparación para estos Sacramentos se cumple según la edad de
la persona y su conocimiento de la Fe Católica. Para más información comunicarse con la Oficina de Formación de la Fe.
MATRIMONIOS
La pareja deberá hacer su solicitud en el despacho pastoral por los
menos seis meses antes de la fecha de la boda, para entrevistarse
con el sacerdote e iniciar la preparación matrimonial.

RECONCILIACION
El Sacramento se celebra semanalmente los sábados de 3:30 pm a

Divine Mercy Sunday
Divine Mercy Sunday is the title of the Second Sunday of the Easter season. It was named by St. Pope John Paul II at the canoni
zation of St. Maria Faustina on April 30, 2000, and officially decreed by the Vatican. In the Diary of St. Faustina, 699 she wrote I
heard these words: “On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. …The soul that will go to Confession and receive
Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.”
St. Pope John Paul II on June 13, 2002 granted the following indulgences:
a plenary indulgence, granted under the usual conditions (sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion and prayer for the
intentions of Supreme Pontiff) to the faithful who, on the Second Sunday of Easter or Divine Mercy Sunday, in any church or
chapel, in a spirit that is completely detached from the affection for a sin, even a venial sin, take part in the prayers and devotions
held in honour of Divine Mercy, or who, in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament exposed or reserved in the tabernacle, recite
the Our Father and the Creed, adding a devout prayer to the merciful Lord Jesus (e.g. Merciful Jesus, I trust in you!");
A partial indulgence, granted to the faithful who, at least with a contrite heart, pray to the merciful Lord Jesus a legitimately
approved invocation.
…all who for a just cause cannot leave their homes or who carry out an activity for the community which cannot be postponed,
may obtain a plenary indulgence on Divine Mercy Sunday, if totally detesting any sin, as has been said before, and with the intention of fulfilling as soon as possible the three usual conditions, will recite the Our Father and the Creed before a devout image of
Our Merciful Lord Jesus and, in addition, pray a devout invocation to the Merciful Lord Jesus (e.g. Merciful Jesus, I trust in you).
If it is impossible that people do even this, on the same day they may obtain the Plenary Indulgence if with a spiritual intention
they are united with those carrying out the prescribed practice for obtaining the Indulgence in the usual way and offer to the
Merciful Lord a prayer and the sufferings of their illness and the difficulties of their lives, with the resolution to accomplish as soon
as possible the three conditions prescribed to obtain the plenary indulgence.

Misericordia divina
Domingo de la Misericordia es el título del segundo domingo de la temporada de Pascua. Fue nombrado por San Juan Pablo II en
la canonización de Santa María Faustina el 30 de abril de 2000, y oficialmente decretado por el Vaticano. En el Diario de Santa
Faustina, 699 ella escribió, yo escuche estas palabras: "Ese día estan abiertas las entrañas de Mi misericordia ... El alma que se
confiese y reciba Santa Comunión obtendrá el perdón total de las culpas y de las penas ".
El Santo Papa Juan Pablo II el día 13 de junio de 2002 otorgó las indulgencias siguientes:
Se concede la indulgencia plenaria, con las condiciones habituales (confesión sacramental, comunión eucarística y oración por
las intenciones del Sumo Pontífice) al fiel que, en el domingo segundo de Pascua, llamado de la Misericordia divina, en cualquier
iglesia u oratorio, con espíritu totalmente alejado del afecto a todo pecado, incluso venial, participe en actos de piedad realizados
en honor de la Misericordia divina, o al menos rece, en presencia del santísimo sacramento de la Eucaristía, públicamente expuesto
o conservado en el Sagrario, el Padrenuestro y el Credo, añadiendo una invocación piadosa al Señor Jesús misericordioso (por
ejemplo, "Jesús misericordioso, confío en ti").
Se concede la indulgencia parcial al fiel que, al menos con corazón contrito, eleve al Señor Jesús misericordioso una de las

… los enfermos y quienes les asisten, y todos los que por justa causa no pueden abandonar su casa o desempeñan una actividad
