Snow and Bad Weather Policy
For the safety of all concerned, the following policies will
apply:
Parish Offices: The parish offices will follow what our parish
school does. If the school has a delayed opening, the opening of the office will likewise be delayed to the same hour. If
school is cancelled for the day, the office, and all activities
planned for that day and evening, are also cancelled.
Weekday Masses: If the school opening is delayed or cancelled, relevant Masses will be cancelled (for example, if the
school delays opening for two hours, the 7 am or 8:15 am
Masses will be cancelled that day; if school is cancelled for a
day, so are all of that day's Masses.)
Sunday Masses: Sunday Masses will RARELY be cancelled. If
there is need to cancel one or more Sunday Masses, the pastor alone will make the decision.
NOTIFICATION OF DELAYED OPENINGS
OR CANCELLATIONS:
Any delay or cancellation will be announced through the parish website and Facebook page, an email blast, and a recorded message on the parish telephone. (If you would like
your email address added to our distribution list, please contact Eileen at [email protected].)
Initiation Programs
Consider Learning about the Catholic Faith
You are invited to come explore the Catholic Faith through
the Rite of Christian Initiation. Our process is year round and
intended to meet individual needs. The goal of this process
is to help folks learn the teachings of the Church and discern
if it is right for them. Sessions are held three Tuesday nights
a month from 7-8:30 pm. For more information contact
Janet at the parish office, ext. 120 or [email protected].
Sessions resume on January 7th.
‘Tis the Season for Coming Home
This Christmas season as the Church
celebrates the birth of Jesus, we
invite home people who—for
whatever reason—have been away
from our family supper table for a
short time or a long time. Think about people who have
been away from each other in the family---family members,
relatives, or friends who once were close. There are many
splits in the family that is Church. This is a good season to
invite those who have left the Church back home. The Lord
has a place for all of us at the family table, and always welcomes us home! A new group of Catholics Come Home will
begin in January and you are welcome to join us.
Please call or email Janet Hassan for more information:
[email protected] or 595-0385 ext. 120.
We have an open house scheduled for January 21st at 7:00
pm in St. Michael Hall. Please join us! Bring someone home
this Christmas season.

Liturgical Ministries
Behind the Scenes Ministry Opportunity
Intercessory prayer writers
prepare the Prayer of the
Faithful for our weekend
Masses. Prayers are written
following specific guidelines
with support from various
publications, the coordinator, and most especially the Holy
Spirit. This is an invisible, yet essential ministry. Writers
tend to be those who enjoy prayer and scripture reflection,
and are comfortable putting their thoughts in writing. This
ministry is time-flexible and can be performed at home;
ideally this would be on a 6 - 8 week rotation.
Contact Eileen at [email protected] if you are interested in
learning more about this ministry.

(Diacono Francisco Anleu)
