St. Mary Church
1914-2014
In 1985 before the rectory was ready for occupancy,
Fr. David O’Shea, the pastor at that time, was transferred
to St. Bernadette parish in Panama City. On June 4,
1985, Fr. Francis Killeen became pastor of St. Mary
Church.
On October 7, the new rectory was dedicated by
Bishop Keith Symons. Following an Open House for the
parish, Fr. Killeen, along with Fr. Wood and Fr. Callipare
took up residence in the new building. Ladies of the
CCW were asked to help choose the furnishings and
willingly gave their talents to the project.

Abraham was prepared to sacrifice his only
son, Isaac. St. Paul reminds us that God
Himself “did not spare His own Son.” Are
my gifts to the Lord — of my resources, of
my time, of myself —also sacrificial?
