Find below a summary of the topics which we will study this month.
UNIT 9: Holiday fun
• Holiday places: castle, circus, science museum, water park, funfair,
chocolate factory, aquarium, sports centre, safari park and theatre.
• Irregular plural nouns: man, men, woman, women, child and children.
• Grammar:
Past of verb “to be”
“Where were you yesterday?”
“I was at the circus”
“Who is…? / Who are those…?”
“Who is that man?”
“Who are those men?
“He is my uncle”
“They are my uncles”
At home you can help your child learn the vocabulary by working on
some/all of these activities:
• Ask them questions about the places where they have been to.
Ex:
Where were you this morning/yesterday/last weekend/last summer?
I was at the theatre/funfair/science museum…

Empezaremos con la unidad 9.

• Lugares de vacaciones: castillo, circo, museo de ciencia, parque
acuático, feria, fábrica de chocolate, aquarium, centro deportivo, parque
safari y teatro.
• Sustantivos con plural irregular: hombre, hombres, mujer, mujeres,
niño y niños.
• Gramática:
Pasado del verbo “to be” (ser o estar)

En casa podéis ayudar a vuestro hijo/a a aprender el vocabulario a través
