Congratulations to our New
Management Team!
Please join us in welcoming Jorge
Jimenez (JJ), the newest member of our
management team. JJ comes to us with
15 years of experience in warehouse
and facility management, supervising
logistics for large retail clients such as
Wal-Mart and Target. JJ joins the Saugus
Swap Meet in the newly created position
of Outdoor Operations Manager, with
responsibilities that include the
management and continued
improvement of the facility. He has
already overseen the installation of
a new phone system and is currently
working to install electricity on more
vendor spaces.
JJ is working as a team with our own
Sandra Medrano, who has been
promoted to Indoor Operations
Manager. Sandra has primary
responsibilities for managing the office,
marketing, advertising and the long list
of logistics that makes the Swap Meet
run smoothly.

Doug with any issues or suggestions
you may have...or just swing by to say

Tuesday and Saturday Success
Tie-downs
Our Tuesday and Saturday markets
have been growing steadily and
continue to set new attendance
records. You may have noticed that
opening times are now the same
for all market days; 5:30 am for
reserved vendors and 7:00 am for
drive-up vendors. Space prices are
$10.00 on Saturday, and $15.00 on
Tuesday. Sunday monthly vendors
sell for free on Saturdays. Please
stop by the office for more information.
Since the winds have been picking
up lately we would like to remind
all of our vendors to securely tie
down all canopies and tents. If
your space doesn’t have hooks
for tie downs, please use 25 lbs
weights on each corner of your
setup.
Thank you for helping us to make
the Saugus Swap Meet a safe place
to sell and shop.
RV Show
We were happy to have Camping World/
Stier’s RV Center host an RV show in the
Swap Meet parking lot for 9 consecutive
days. This type of event brings many
additional shoppers to the Swap Meet
on all market days and hopefully
increases sales for you and for Steir’s.
We hope to see them here again.
Saturday Swap Meet now located in
the Green Area.
Saugus Swap Meet goes
“Hollywood”
We want to thank our vendors who
participated in the recent NCIS-LA
film shoot. In addition to being
rather fun and exciting to have
a major TV show filming at the
Speedway property, we hope the
publicity increases customer
interest in our Swap Meet.
Alex from Segura Produce offers fresh
fruit and vegetables on space B13.
Make sure to take your kids to our
pony rides on the Racetrack.

¡Felicidades a Nuestro Nuevo Equipo Éxito del Martes y del Sábado
de Gerencia!
Por favor, únase a nosotros dar la
bienvenida a Jorge Jiménez (JJ), el
nuevo miembro de nuestro equipo de
gerencia. JJ viene a nosotros con 15
años de experiencia en el manejo de
bodegas y facilidades, supervisando
la logística para los grandes clientes
minoristas, tales como Wal-Mart y
Target. JJ se une al Saugus Swap Meet
en la recién creada posición de
Gerente de Operaciones del Exterior,
con responsabilidades que incluyen el
manejo y el continuó de la mejoría de
las instalaciones. Él ya ha supervisado
la instalación de un nuevo sistema
telefónico y en la actualidad está
trabajando para instalar la electricidad
en más espacios de los vendedores.
JJ está trabajando en el equipo con
nuestra propia Sandra Medrano, quien
ha sido promovida a la posición de
Gerente de Operaciones del Interior.
Sandra tiene las responsabilidades
primarias del manejo de la oficina,
mercadotecnia, publicidad y la larga
lista de la logística que hace que el
Swap Meet funcione sin problemas.
Por favor, no deje de comunicarse con
Sandra, JJ, o con Doug con cualquier
problema o sugerencia que usted
pueda tener... o simplemente de una

Nuestros mercados de los martes y
de los sábados han seguido creciendo
constantemente y continúan a realizar
nuevas metas de la asistencia. Usted
puede haber notado que los horarios
de apertura son los mismos para
todos los días del mercado; de las 5:30
am para los vendedores reservados y
de las 7:00 am para los vendedores de
servicio al automóvil. Precios del
espacio son $10.00 el sábado, y $15.00
el martes. Los vendedores mensuales
de los domingos venden gratis los
sábados. Por favor pase por la oficina
para más información.
El Swap Meet del sábado ahora se
encuentra en la Zona Verde (“Green
Area”).

Estuvimos felices de tener a
Camping World/ Stier’s RV Center
presentar una exposición de RVs en el
estacionamiento del Swap Meet por
nueve días consecutivos. Este tipo de
evento trae muchos compradores
adicionales para el Swap Meet en
todos los días de mercado y es de
esperar aumente las ventas para usted
y para Steir’s. Esperamos verlos de
nuevo aquí.
