En 1906 aparecen las primeras villas de
Benicàssim al abrigo de la línea férrea configurándose el núcleo estival que siguió creciendo
hasta los años 20.
Fue en 1929 cuando Juan Pallarés Picón solicita la Licencia para abrir una Casa de Baños y un
Café- Restaurant y en 1930 nace VORAMAR.

The first Villas of Benicàssim appeared in 1906
sheltered by the railway line to configure the
kernel summer which continued to grow until
the 20's.
Juan Pallarés Picón requested license to open a
Bathhouse and a Café-Restaurant in 1929 and
VORAMAR was born in 1930.

Pasada la posguerra
Post-war past
Después de la posguerra Benicàssim
vuelve a ser centro de veraneo.
En 1953 Voramar se transforma en el escenario de la película de Berlanga “Novio a la
Vista”.
En 1954 la familia Pallarés recupera la
gestión del Hotel.
En 1936 estalla la Guerra Civil, muchas
villas de Benicassim fueron incautadas por
las Brigadas Internacionales y utilizadas
como hospital o sanatorio.
En 1937 Voramar se convirtió en Sala de
operaciones y el entonces Hospital de
Sangre fue llamado Villa Frente Popular.
Benicàssim was again a holiday center
after post-war
Voramar became the scene of Berlanga's

The Pallarés family recovered the management of the Hotel in 1954.

Civil War was broke in 1936 , many villas
of Benicàssim were seized by International
Brigades and used as a hospital or sanatorium.
Voramar became in Operating Room in
1937 which was called Villa Frente Popular.
