Introducción: FET en H2020 FET en H2020: Finalidad “FET busca crear en Europa el medio para desarrollar una colaboración multidisciplinar, responsable y dinámica en tecnología futura y emergente desarrollando nuevos ecosistemas en investigación e innovación”. “Se pretende crear las semillas de un futuro liderazgo industrial que afronte con garantías y de manera novedosa los grandes desafíos sociales”. 5 I. Introducción: FET en H2020 FET en H2020: Objetivos • Investigación más allá de lo que es conocido, aceptado o ampliamente adoptado. • FET apoya nuevas y visionarias aproximaciones para desarrollar nuevos enfoques que abran nuevos caminos hacia posibilidades tecnológicas radicalmente nuevas. • FET financia colaboraciones interdisciplinares fructíferas que busquen “cross-fertilisation” y sinergias entre disciplinas de vanguardia tanto científicas (ciencias de la vida, sociales, humanidades,…) como ingenierías. 6 Investigación de riesgo, que cree nuevas ideas, conceptos y paradigmas que supongan un cambio radical de las aproximaciones actuales. FET OPEN (RIA) Impacto esperado de los proyectos • Establecer un punto de partida de una nueva línea tecnológica y su aplicación futura estableciendo los principios científicos esenciales. • Fortalecer el liderazgo europeo en tecnologías emergentes más allá de la excelencia académica. Reforzar y sentar las bases del liderazgo futuro por medio de una mayor involucración de potenciales actores como high-tech SMEs y jóvenes investigadores de ambos sexos. • Lograr que estas nuevas prácticas en innovación e investigación que buscan el liderazgo en ciencia e investigación tecnológica sean más colaborativas, creativas y cercanas a la sociedad. Las propuestas deben incluir todas las características descritas en los “FET gatekeepers” 16 FETOPEN-01-2016-2017 (RIA) II. FET OPEN (RIA) FET GATEKEEPERS 1/2 1. Visión a largo plazo: Investigación enfocada a desarrollar una tecnología facilitadora nueva (más allá del estado del arte y de las “currently foreseen technology roadmaps”. 2. Objetivo científico-técnico rupturista: Investigación rupturista con objetivo científico ambicioso y tecnológicamente concreto. Debe ser “alcanzable” en la vida del proyecto. 3. Novedoso: Desarrollo de nuevas ideas y conceptos. Se debe ir más allá de la aplicación y/o refinamiento de lo ya existente. 17 FETOPEN-01-2016-2017 (RIA) II. FET OPEN (RIA) FET GATEKEEPERS 2/2 4. Carácter fundacional: Los avances deben establecer las bases para un nuevo desarrollo tecnológico y sus aplicaciones futuras. 5. Alto riesgo: La metodología propuesta debe ser lo suficientemente flexible y efectiva para explorar opciones y direcciones alternativas en el desarrollo de los proyectos. 6. Interdisciplinariedad: Las colaboraciones científicas deben ir más allá del desarrollo en cascada.
