Third Sunday of Lent C “But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all

Third Sunday of Lent C
“But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did!”
“For three years now I have come in search of fruit on this fig tree but have found
none. So cut it down. Why should it exhaust the soil?”
Jesus calls everyone to repent. As we celebrate this third and middle Sunday of
Lent perhaps this is a good time for thinking about why Jesus calls us to repent.
III Domingo de Cuaresma C
"Pero yo os digo, si no se convierten, todos perecerán de manera semejante!"
"Durante tres años he venido a buscar fruto en esta higuera, pero no hemos
encontrado ninguno. Así que cortarlo. ¿Por qué debe agotar el suelo? "
Jesús llama a todos a arrepentirse. Al celebrar esta tercera y media domingo de
Cuaresma tal vez este es un buen momento para pensar acerca de por qué Jesús
nos llama al arrepentimiento.
