Acceptable Items/Articulos Aceptables 3’x3’ 3’x3’ No greasy pizza boxes/No cajas de pizza grasosa Examples/Ejemplos Desperdicio de Correo All plastic containers #1 & #2, Plastic bottles w/neck #3 - #7 Todo recipiente plástico, #1 y #2; Botellas plásticas con cuellos, #3 - #7 Pie Tins Latas de Aluminio, Latas para pasteles X Unacceptable Items/Articulos Inaceptables Foam (e.g. Styrofoam) Espuma de poliestireno SEE REVERSE SIDE PICK-UP SCHEDULE RECYCLING__________________ GARBAGE__________________ YARD TRASH__________________ Single Stream Recycling = All recyclables listed below may be placed in the same recycle container: Pasteboard (i.e. Cereal Boxes, Shoe Boxes, Paper Towel Rolls, etc) Corrugated cardboard (flattened and cut down to no larger than 3ftx3ft) Newspapers, Magazines, Telephone Books, Junk Mail Office Paper Aluminum & Tin Cans (remove caps/lids) Glass Bottles & Jars (remove caps/lids) Drink Boxes & Milk/Juice Cartons All Plastic Containers (remove caps/lids) #1 or #2 Symbol Plastic Bottles with neck (remove caps/lids) #1 through #7 Symbol Empty Aerosol Cans Brown Paper Grocery Bags Do NOT place the following items into the recycling bin: Plastic Bags (i.e. grocery bags, garbage bags, food storage, etc) Pizza Boxes Partially full aerosol cans Light bulbs Window glass, cookware, and drinking glasses Containers that have previously held hazardous material (motor oil, pool chemicals, pesticides, etc). Polystyrene foam (i.e. Styrofoam, egg cartons, cups, packing peanuts, etc) These items will not be picked up for recycling. Cell phones Plastic or Metal hangers Mirrors Toys Aluminum foil Packing Material Syringes Shredded Paper We cannot accept recyclables inside plastic bags. Place your recyclables directly in your bins or in brown paper bags. Make sure you do not place your recycling bins or garbage cans in front of any mailbox. Doing so may block access and cause interruption in mail delivery. Pickup times may vary, depending on weather, traffic conditions, and amount of material collected throughout the City.
