leaders in Mongolia and throughout the Missions who offer
the poor practical help and the experience of God’s love and
mercy, his hope and peace. Please keep the Missions in your
daily prayers. Please be generous as you can to today’s
collection. For more information, please visit

Altar Rosary Society
Twenty-Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time
October 19, 2014
Be Part of an Amazing Transformation!!!
Meets the 1st Tuesday of every month, Sept.– May.
Meetings start at 9:30 am with the rosary.
Meeting and lunch are in the Parish Hall.
Please join us.
St. Anne Church and School have found a dynamic way to vividly spread our most up-to-date
news to current families, as well as, capture the
attention of the overall community! Whether the
information is important parish news or the
school’s latest and greatest updates, we will be
empowered to better communicate to all in the
form of an electronic sign that will replace our
current traditional marquee sign.
Dear Parishioners:
The Altar Rosary Society would
like everyone to take the time to
look at the plaque by the Palm
Tree in front of Father
Tommy’s house in memory of
Frank Lopez, our custodian who
planted it.
We are so very grateful for all he did for us.
3rd Dimension Meetings
Please mark your calendars with the
following scheduled meetings at
10:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall:
Oct 22
Nov 12
Dec 10 Jan 14 & 28
An ELECTRONIC SIGN has been proven time
and time again as a successful outreach tool for
existing families and potential visitors. We have
begun the process by interviewing possible
vendors from which to purchase this sign.
St. Anne is seeking support by way of donations
from our loving families to help bring this
communication platform to our community.
Please join us in making this dream a reality.
Donations can be made through your company or
on an individual basis. Remember, it is a tax
deduction on your part, as well as, a huge benefit
for your church and school. We have witnessed
other neighboring parishes who have added these
signs and the response have been overwhelming
and positive!
Please contact Daisy O’Halloran in the church
office at 281-351-8106 Ext. 154
or [email protected] for more
information so we can add you or your company
to our list of charitable sponsors who are on
board, ready and willing to help us outreach to
all…our mission for others to witness us as we
are…a loving, inviting community!

Dear St. Anne Parishioners
I had the opportunity to take this class in the fall
of 2012. What a profound experience this was to
be able to see the Mass as Jesus intends us to see it.
I pray that those of you with interest in knowing
more about the Mass will be able to attend this
thought provoking workshop.
This workshop will take place at
St. Anthony of Padua on Saturday,
November 1 from 9:00am – 4:30 pm.
Deacon Tom Vicknair does a wonderful job of
explaining the Mass as we should all be able to
experience it.
For more details and to register please see the
insert in this bulletin.
Would YOU like to have a more profound
encounter with Jesus at MASS?
In A Biblical Walk Through the Mass you will come
to know and understand the Mass like never before.
See, perhaps for the first time, why we say what we
say, and do what we do as Catholics. With freshly
awakened eyes of faith, the words and gestures will
be seen in a new light, leading to a richer, more
fruitful worship experience. Register NOW!

We are looking for the following:
“Gathering Place “
A Call to Serve
God calls us to serve one another. One of the ways we can
serve is by participating in the Gathering Place ministry. The
“gathering” team members provide a loving, welcoming and
fun environment for guests with mild to moderate memory
loss. The monthly activity program is a partnership between
St. Anne Church and Interfaith Care Partners. The gathering is
held in the parish hall, and a professional staff member from
Interfaith attends each Gathering Place.
St.
Anne
Office Angels are ladies and gentlemen who volunteer a few
hours a week in the parish office as the Receptionist. They
warmly greet visitors, answer phones and assist with office
tasks. Their dedicated support is invaluable to the parish.
Are you called to be an office Angel? Contact Alina Perez in the
church office at 281-351-8106 or send e-mail to
The Gathering Place is in great need of volunteers to assist in
activities such as crafts, physical movement, socialization,
music and other engaging activities. Team members are also
needed to assist with simple decorations, lunch preparation,
invitations, phone calls and photography. It is not necessary
for a team member to provide skilled medical care. We are
especially in need of men volunteers, but ALL volunteers are
welcome.
A five to seven hour commitment per month is all you need to
serve in this amazing ministry. Please prayerfully consider
getting involved. For more information, please call Janet
Dingman at 936-449-5203 or e-mail
The Parish is in need of a Volunteer or

The sick and hospitalized are to be held in thought and prayer. For
their family, friends, and faith community, it is often times the only
way we can help and support them.
Please remember names for the sick list in the bulletin have to be
called in to the Parish Office by the person who is ill or by a
member of their family. At the time they call in the name, they will
be asked whether they are the sick person him/herself, or a
member of their family and if they give permission for the name to
be placed on the list. They will be asked for the correct spelling of
the sick person’s name. If a family member, they will be required
to give their name for our records. The name will be in the bulletin
for four weeks.
