Dear Village Families:
I am so pleased to have the opportunity to introduce myself as the new Principal of
Village Elementary School. Some of you may be aware that Dr. Fuhrer has accepted a
position within the District as the Assistant Superintendent of Elementary
Education (PK-5). I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to continue the great
work that has been occurring at Village for years and look forward to working
closely with Dr. Fuhrer and the Village staff to continue to move our children to even
greater heights!
I am a passionate educator who loves learning! My career has been diverse having
worked in the classroom (Language Arts and Social Studies), a teacher leader
(Instructional Coach & EL Learners), and Administration (Assistant Principal).
I have a loving family at home; my husband Matt, also an educator, my two sons
Cooper and Hudson and of course, two dogs. I value family and cannot wait to learn
more about yours. While the school year is just around the corner (Tuesday, August
11, 2015) I would love to meet you this summer. We have scheduled an informal
Meet & Greet for families to stop in to say hello on Tuesday, July 28, 2015,
6:00pm-7:30pm.
I truly look forward to working with you and your child this year as we work to take
Village Elementary to a new level!

Estimadas familias de Village:
Me complace tener la oportunidad de presentarme como la nueva Directora de
Village Elementary Schools. Algunos de ustedes ya sabrán que la Dra. Fuhrer ha
aceptado un cargo dentro del Distrito como Superintendente adjunta de educación
primaria (PK-5). Me siento muy afortunada de tener la oportunidad de continuar
con el excelente trabajo que se ha estado realizando en Village durante años y
espero trabajar estrechamente con la Dra. Fuhrer y el personal de Village para que
nuestros estudiantes sigan avanzando aún más.
¡Soy una educadora apasionada que ama aprender! Mi carrera ha sido diversa ya
que he trabajado en el aula (arte del lenguaje y estudios sociales), como líder de
maestros (instructora de enseñanza y estudiantes de EL), y en la administración
(directora adjunta).
Tengo una hermosa familia en casa; mi marido Matt, también educador, mis dos
hijos Cooper y Hudson y por supuesto, dos perros. Valoro a la familia y no veo la
hora de conocer más sobre sus familias. Si bien el año escolar está próximo a
comenzar (martes, 11 de agosto de 2015), me encantaría conocerlos este verano. He
programado una reunión informal para que las familias se acerquen y nos saluden
el martes, 28 de julio de 2015 de 6:00 p.m. a 7:30 p.m.
¡Realmente deseo trabajar con ustedes y sus hijos este año a fin de llevar a Village
Elementary a un nuevo nivel!
