figuras de la prensa, las revistas y calendarios del país, en
collage, sobre papel acuarela.
Se usaron acrílicos, lápices, caligrafía en tinta china y
calados con bisturí.
Luego de su fecha queda indicada la altura de cada obra.

Aquí está usted ante la historia, parcial naturalmente, de
la criminalización de las drogas... la prohibición, si usted
gusta, de las drogas... otro CRIMEN CREADO MADE IN
USA. O, la guerra contra las drogas; como ha afectado a las
Colombias, a todas nuestras gentes, a la tierra, y a todos
aquellos que la libran... ¡el PLAN para COLUMBIA!
Vecino... note que la “bandera americana”, cuando
aparece, no es el Pabellón Centelleante de Estrellas.
Imágenes parecidas y distorsionadas son reflejos
socarrones de su uso como trapo chasqueando por la
“libertad”, la “seguridad nacional”, la “demo-ficti-cracia”
o “por los niños del mundo”... meros palimpsestos de
intereses dudosos cuyos engendros devastan la tierra y nos
tienen constantemente BAJO fuego.!.
Nuestra intención es devolverle siempre al remitente la
habladuría de doble filo, el nuevo, el vano... y el hablar de la
lengua bífida... las baratijas del trueque ofrecido.
Permítanos entonces, dedicarle esta historia que es tanto
nuestra como suya, al Tío Sam. ¿No fue el quien dijo: “Todo
esta bien, cuando nada está bien.”?

You are here before the story, partial naturally, of the
criminalization of drugs... the prohibition, if you like, of
drugs... another CREATED CRIME MADE IN USA. Or, the
war on drugs, how it has affected us, the Colombias, and all
our people, our land and all those who wage it... the PLAN
for COLUMBIA!
Neighbour... note that the “American flag”, when it
appears, is NOT the Star-spangled banner. Similar distorted
images are underhand reflections of its use as a flapper
of “freedom”, “de-mock-racy” or “for the children of the
world”... palimpsests of dubious interests whose spawn
is laying waste the land and putting us constantly UNDER
fire.!.
Our intention is always to readdress to the sender the
double-talk, the new or vain... speak of the forked tongue...
the cheap trinkets of trade offered.
Let us then dedicate this story, it’s yours as well as ours,
to Uncle Sam. Was it not he who said: “Everything is right,
when nothing is right.”?
