‘Losses’

La serie ‘Losses’ habla de espacios vacíos que una vez fueron habitados, de la
naturaleza en el estado más puro, donde vida y muerte se fusionan. De la huella y
el vacío que dejan las personas que pasan por tu vida cuando ya no están y, por
último, del objeto que un día fue útil y que ahora es una herramienta del pasado y
que ya solo permanece en la memoria.
He tomado fotografías de lugares abandonados o sin vida, he utilizado diferentes
técnicas como pintura, grabado y cerámica, y el papel como soporte para dar
vida a esta serie, donde la ’nada’ puede ser el comienzo de algo nuevo.
‘Losses’ habla de perdida, pero también de amor.
A la memoria de mi padre.
The “Losses” series talks about empty spaces, about nature in the purest state,
where life and death merge, about the void and reminiscence left when a loved
one is not sharing your life any longer and lastly about the derelict object, once
useful, that now belongs to the past and only remains in our memory.
I have taken photographs of abandoned or lifeless spaces, combining different
techniques such as painting, etching and ceramics, using paper as support; to
create this series where apparent lifelessness and ’nothingness’ could be the beginning of ’something’.
‘Losses’ talks about loss but also love.
