The name of the Moooi Raimond Tensegrity Floor Lamp includes the
portmanteau word "tensegrity", composed of "tension" (tension) and
"integrity" (cohesion). That means this floor lamp has a base of rods
made of solid oak, which are not touching each other mutually but are
connected only via pulling elements. On the solid oak frame rests a
round shape made of spring steel strips.Raimond Puts designed the
Raimond tensegrity Floor Lamp in 2008, for which he used as lamps
modern LEDs. The LEDs produce a particularly pleasant atmosphere,
because the LED lenses distribute a warm white light in the room. With
an on-off switch on the cable the floor lamp can be operated
effortlessly.For the Raimond Tensegrity Floor Lamp you can choose
between a small and a large version. The small lamp is 80 cm high and
has a diffuser with a diameter of 61 cm. Here are installed 162 LEDs
with a total of 30 watts and 644 lumens. The larger Raimond floor lamp
is equipped with 252 LEDs with 50 watts of power and 790 lumens. This
version has a diffuser diameter of 89 cm.
