In his work -regarding reality as a construction- the anecdotal part is an addition, something that emerges as uncomfortable in a one way system.Thereby he makes way for the established game between the things, between their sameness and differences, their settled nature and the abstraction of their rules, between what things are and what they could be. Parting from many disciplines (drawing, video, sculpture etc.) with drawing being the centre, reality is a coherent fiction which materialises as a body while it disintegrates as an image. _Ora toria ora dibujo. 02_11_12 / 18_12_12 ÁNGELES BAÑOS «–¿Le importa que ponga la radio? – El caso es que sí. The literal meaning is: “NOW ORATORY, NOW DRAWING”, but is constructed with one word “ORA”, that works with two meanings, as a conjuntion NOW, and as the beginning of the next word “TORIA” (wich makes no sense in Spanish) together mean “ORATORY”. _Views, 2013 Starting from a specific point of observation and using the studies of viewshed - the visible area from this point of view - Daniel Martín Corona uses the physical limits which function as visual barriers, shaping his drawings, maps, videos, devices and sculptural pieces. The work is material thanks to or despite of using the hollow mould that creates an empty field for the visibility. These points of observation are varied: the main entrance of a president’s official residen- ce, the planet’s highest mountain or the stand of an art gallery. They are visual analyses without monitoring, non - fictional studies, playful visions, figures without contents, visual aspects, surfaces, stackable matter, interdisciplinable. On the contrary it shows that it is the image that orbits the ball that in its turn is the absolute centre of the audiovisual medium, and also that despite the illusion of a three-dimensional image, the ball is completely flat and without any relief.
