Based on a simple philosophy –
to make great technical running
socks for runners - Hilly continues
to lead the field.
This approach had lead to a
fundamental leap forward for
2014. Following lots of feedback
and research we embarked on an
amazing cross-collaborative effort
to make much better sock range
and consequently everything has
been completely rethought and
redesigned.
The foundations of the 2014
collection are rooted in our heritage.
Hilly was founded over 20 years ago,
by running legend Dr Ron Hill, MBE,
the former European, Boston and
Commonwealth marathon champion.
Ron combined his running expertise
with his Doctorate, in Textile
Chemistry to revolutionise running
kit and more incisively the second
most important piece of kit a runner
needs….a sock!
Hilly works closely with many
of the world’s leading branded
yarn suppliers, who offer new
technologies and technical expertise.
Combined with first class design
and manufacturing the result is
an extraordinary level of quality,
fit and finish. New styles for 2014
complement old favorites and include
new compression socks, advances
in boosting blood circulation and
the latest in anti-odour technology
to keep your feet fresh.
Hilly is a brand of OSC Limited
Identifying your perfect sock is now
quicker and easier. The new collection
is split into 4 ranges which refines
the extensive and diverse range
available, whilst new packaging and
product information makes choosing
the right sock quicker and more fluid.
Finally new styling across all creative
materials provides a strong, clear
identity and presence, both in-store
and online.
To create the new range we began
with a collection we really loved,
but to build it and to implement it,
we had to go way beyond what we
already had and thought that we
could do. It took all of our feedback,
our learning and our best thinking
to realise something so simple, so
clear and yet so truly extraordinary.
