Tree Frog Treks Afterschool Enrichment Classes at Lafayette Elementary!
Tree Frog Treks teaches fun interactive in-school and after-school science enrichment programs that introduce
kids to concepts in biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences and natural history while allowing them to meet
& hold live rescued reptiles and amphibians!
14 Week Session of Weekly Enrichment Classes Starting This Fall! Thursdays I 2:00-3:30 PM Class Dates: 9/8 - 12/15 No Class: 11/24 Open to students in K_3 rd Grade $210 per child for the full 14 week session Fall 2011 Course Description: Planet Earth Explorer!
Become an Explorer Frog as you hop between the continents to discover planet Earth's ecosystems with the scientific team from
Tree Frog Treks! Meet our amazing animal ambassadors from the deserts of Australia, the rainforests of South America, and the
jungles of Southeast Asia. Prepare yourself for Arctic and Antarctic expeditions, and then transport yourself to the African Savannah
to find out how living things have adapted to these extreme weather conditions. Become a volcanologist to peek below the Earth's
crust, and then calculate the possibilities of life on other planets as you leap out into intergalactic space! Make your own scientific
equipment like binoculars, plant presses and specimen jars to take home, and don't forget to make a pledge to save, preserve, and
maintain our home as a Planet Earth Explorer!
