If the governing board of either district neglects or refuses to enter into such agreement within 30
days after the person having custody of any pupil has requested the board to do so:

The person may appeal to the county board of education.
The county board of education shall, within 30 days after the filling of the appeal,
determine whether the pupil should be permitted to attend in the district in which
he desires to attend, for what period of time, and whether or not there shall be a
tuition charge.
Parents should start the proceedings in the district in which they reside. All communications
should be in writing and should be dated. This agreement is good only one school year. Each
year the permit needs to be renewed.

Si el consejo directivo del distrito descuida o rechaza firmar tal acuerdo dentro de 30 días
después de que la persona que tiene la custodia de cualquier alumno ha solicitado que el consejo
(tabla) haga así:

La persona puede apelar a la junta de educación del condado.
La Junta de educación del Condado deberá, dentro de 30 días después de que el
llenado de la apelación, determinar si se debe permitir al alumno para asistir en el
distrito en el que desea asistir, durante qué período de tiempo, y si no habrá un
cargo de matrícula.
Los padres deben iniciar los trámites en el distrito en que residen. Todas las comunicaciones
deben ser por escrito y deben ser fechadas. Este acuerdo es bueno sólo un año escolar. Cada
año el permiso debe ser renovado.
