Eligible applicants must be 62 years or older and have incomes not exceeding the Income Limits established
by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as follows:

Application forms will be available at the Jersey City Housing Authority’s Central Office, 400 U.S. Highway #1
(Marion Gardens) and the Berry Gardens Management Offices, 199 Ocean Avenue and 92 Danforth Avenue, starting
Tuesday May 17, 2016. All applications must be returned to the Jersey City Housing Authority’s Applicant
Selection Department, 400 U.S. Highway #1 Jersey City, NJ 07306.
Elderly applicants who have a disability which prevents them from picking up an application may request that one be
mailed by calling the Jersey City Housing Authority’s Central Office at (201) 706-4646. Relay service for the hearing
impaired dial “711”.
All applications will be reviewed for HUD and Jersey City Housing Authority income and general eligibility criteria and,
if eligible, placed on the JCHA Senior Citizen waiting list. Rent is based on 30% of adjusted gross income. Priority is
given to families who meet the definition of Jersey City Preference.

Las solicitudes estarán disponibles en las Oficina Central de la Authoridad de Vivienda de la
Ciudad de Jersey en la 400 U.S. Highway #1 (Marion Gardens) y en las oficinas de Berry Gardens
en las 199 Ocean Avenue y 92 Danforth Avenue, empezando el día Martes Mayo 17, 2016. Todas
las aplicaciones deben ser devueltos al Departamento de Selección Solicitante de la
Autoridad de Vivienda de la Ciudad de Jersey, 400 U.S. Highway #1 Jersey City, NJ
07306.
Personas mayor de edad que tienen un impedimento que le impida recoger un formulario pueden
ser enviados por correo llamando a la Oficinal de Selección de Solicitante al (201) 706-4646. Para

Todas las solicitudes serán revisadas para confirmar que no exceden el ingreso de HUD y

será colocado en la lista de espera. El alquiler se basa en el 30% del ingreso bruto ajustado.
