sectorial measures.The solution cannot be other than the integration of diverse lines of action supporting

La integración en la ciudad de un barrio sumido en la espiral de la marginación no puede lograrse con medidas sectoriales desarticuladas. La solución no puede ser otra que la integración de diversas líneas de actuación apoyadas entre sí.

The integration of resources and actions in a unique
model of sustainable development and the participation
are the main new features that the plan contributes, and at
the same time, strongly endorses its success.

COMBINING THE PLANNING WITH THE ACTION
The effect of the Plan was reflected in the streets from the
moment of its inception. The same technical and neighbourhood team which designed the Plan is the one which
puts it into action.

El Plan se está reflejando en la calle desde el momento en que se ha iniciado su
redacción. El mismo dispositivo técnico y ciudadano que lo ha construido interviene en las actuaciones iniciadas con anterioridad.
TRUSTING THE PARTICIPATION
Participation is the key in every one of the phases of the
Plan. More than 4,000 residents of Polígono Sur and 400
professionals who are connected to the district took part
in the process of writing it. Practically all social enterprises
of the district (87 in number) have taken part; public services (36) and administrative centres and public company
(more than 50).
A team of professionals has worked for two
years to formulate the Plan in the area and,
with the people of the district, testing an
experience that already excited interest in
different fields.

TRABAJANDO CON PROFESIONALIDAD
La participación es clave en todas y cada una de las fases del Plan. Más de 4.000
vecinos del Polígono Sur y unos 400 profesionales vinculados al barrio han intervenido en su proceso de redacción. Prácticamente todas las entidades sociales
de barrio (87 contabilizadas) han intervenido, así como los centros y servicios
públicos (36) y centros administrativos y empresas públicas (más de 50).
Para formular el Plan un equipo de profesionales ha trabajado durante dos años en el propio lugar y con la propia
gente del barrio, ensayando una experiencia que ya ha
suscitado el interés en distintos ámbitos.
