Estamos en Toledo, a tan solo 40 minutos de Madrid y te ofrecemos el traslado en autocar de tus invitados y si lo deseas podemos organizar también
tu ceremonia, si te casas por lo civil. Contamos también con un pequeño
y coqueto hotel de 27 habitaciones en el que te regalamos la suite para tu
noche de bodas.
We are in Toledo, only 40 minutes from Madrid, and can provide your guests with
coach transfers. If you so wish, we can also organise your ceremony if you are contracting a civil marriage.We also have a small and cosy 27-room hotel where our gift to
you will be the suite for your wedding night.
En cuanto al menú que ofrecemos a tus invitados, seguro que disfrutarán con
nuestra especialidad, los asados de cordero y cochinillo, cocinados a fuego
lento en un horno de leña que es una copia exacta del viejo horno del restaurante Botín de Madrid, el más antiguo del mundo, según el libro Guinness.
Te esperamos los días 18 y 9 de febrero por la tarde (de 18.00 a 21.00
horas) en la Hacienda del Cardenal, en el Paseo de Recaredo, nº24, para que
visites nuestra Feria de las bodas. Ven y te enseñaremos nuestros salones, los
jardines y el hotel y organizaremos una boda a tu medida. Ese día tu pareja
y tú sois los protagonistas y todo el personal de la Hacienda del Cardenal
se esforzará para que guardéis, de esa fecha tan especial, el mejor recuerdo.
In regard to the menu that we offer your guests, they will surely enjoy our speciality,
lamb and suckling pig roasts, cooked very slowly in a wood-burning oven which is
an exact copy of the old oven of Madrid’s Botin Restaurant, the oldest in the world
according to the Guinness book of records.
We await you on 18 and 19 February in the evening (from 18.00 to 21.00 hours)
at the Hacienda del Cardenal, on no. 24 of Paseo de Recaredo. Please come and
visit ourWedding Fair, where we will give you a tour of our function rooms, gardens
and hotel and where we will organise a fully customised wedding for you. On that

Nuestra primera experiencia con stand propio en
Fitur no ha podido ser más satisfactoria. Hemos recibido la
visita de miles de personas entre profesionales del sector,
políticos, personajes del mundo del espectáculo y público
en general. Sin duda parte del atractivo de nuestro stand
estuvo en nuestros colaboradores Carlos, Raúl y David, de
Cafés Guilis, que sirvieron café a media feria, y Bodegas Ramón
Bilbao, cuyo vino sirvió para acompañar al delicioso jamón 5J,
de Sánchez Romero, que la campeona de España de cortadores de jamón, Beli, cortaba con tanta maestría como simpatía. Además nuestros cocineros, Eduardo, de Botín, y José,
de La Hacienda del Cardenal, no pararon de elaborar deliciosos
y creativos aperitivos que deleitaban a todos los que acudían a nuestro stand.
Entre nuestros más ilustres visitantes cabe destacar la presencia, el primer día, de María Dolores de Cospedal, presidenta de la Junta de Castilla - La Mancha, que estuvo charlando cordialmente con nosotros; y el segundo día, la de
Esperanza Aguirre, presidenta de la Comunidad de Madrid,
que brindó y probó nuestro jamón, haciendo gala de la simpatía y la naturalidad que siempre la caracterizan.
Nuestro objetivo al acudir a Fitur era, principalmente,
que la Hacienda del Cardenal, de la mano de Botín, se
situase en la élite del turismo nacional e internacional.
El primer paso lo dimos, el pasado diciembre, con la entrada del Hotel de la Hacienda del
Cardenal en la prestigiosa cadena hotelera Best Western; y ahora, con nuestra presencia en Fitur
creeemos haberlo consolidado.
Fitur es una de las ferias, del sector turístico, más importantes del mundo y el Grupo Botín no
puede faltar. Sin duda volveremos el año próximo.
Our first experience with our own stand at Fitur could not have been more satisfactory.We received
the visit of thousands of people that included industry professionals, politicians, well-known figures from the
entertainment sector and the general public. Undoubtedly part of the attraction of our stand was the presence
of our collaborators Carlos, Raul and David, from Cafés Guilis, who served coffee halfway through the fair, and
the winery Bodegas Ramón Bilbao, whose wine was served to accompany the delicious Sánchez Romero 5J ham which the Spanish champion of ham slicers, Beli, sliced
with as much skill as charm. In addition our chefs, Eduardo, of Botin, and José, of the Hacienda del Cardenal, brought out an incessant stream of delicious and creative
appetisers to regale everyone who came to our stand.
Among our more illustrious visitors we must highlight the presence on the first day of Maria Dolores de Cospedal, President of the Regional Government of Castilla - La
Mancha, who cordially chatted to us and, on the second day, Esperanza Aguirre, President of the Community of Madrid, who raised a toast with us and tasted our ham
while displaying the charm and poise that always characterise her.

Our objective in coming to Fitur was mainly to situate the Botin-managed Hacienda del Cardenal among the elite of national and international tourism.We took the
first step in December when the Hotel of the Hacienda del Cardenal joined the prestigious Best Western hotel chain; now, with our presence at Fitur, we believe that we
have consolidated its position.
Fitur is one of the most important tourist fairs in the world and the Botin Group could not fail to be present.We will assuredly be back next year.

El stand que han presentado, conjuntamente, la Comunidad y el Ayuntamiento de Madrid ha sido premiado por la
organización de Fitur, por su diseño y por la presentación de
sus propuestas turísticas, en la categoría de stands nacionales.
En el stand madrileño han colaborado, además de la Comunidad, el Madrid Visitors & Convention Bureau (Madrid VCB),
por parte del Ayuntamiento. El premio fue recogido por la gerente del Madrid VCB, Mar de Miguel.
Tanto Comunidad como Ayuntamiento consideran que este
premio es también un reconocimiento al esfuerzo de austeridad que se ha hecho, en estos tiempos de crisis económica, para
presentar un stand conjunto y también a la apuesta de ambos
organismos para colaborar más estrechamente en el objetivo de
aumentar el número de visitantes que acuden a nuestra Comunidad que ya se ha convertido en uno de los principales destinos
turísticos de Europa.
The stand that the Madrid Community and Madrid City Hall
have jointly presented has been recognised by the Fitur organisers for its
design and for the presentation of it tourist proposals, in the category
of national stands.
Se ha cerrado una edición más de Fitur en la que, si algo ha quedado claro es que, a pesar de la crisis, el sector turístico
sigue gozando de buena salud.
MADRID
La superficie activa de Fitur 2012 ha sido menor que en otras ocasiones, sin embargo, el número de visitantes ha aumentado
en un 2% respecto al año pasado. Parte de este éxito puede deberse a que los expositores se han implicado mucho más y han
aumentado su interés, creatividad y sobre todo, profesionalidad.
Por otro lado hay que destacar la enorme importancia que han adquirido las nuevas tecnologías, internet y las redes sociales
en las últimas ediciones de Fitur.
Todo esto no hace más que corroborar algo que ya sabíamos, Fitur sigue siendo un referente internacional en el panorama del
turismo, y este, a su vez, continua siendo el único sector que tira del carro de nuestra maltrecha economía.
Collaborating in the Madrid stand, in addition to the Community, was
the Madrid Visitors & Convention Bureau (Madrid VCB) for the City
Hall.The prize was collected by the managing director of Madrid VCB,
Mar de Miguel.
Another edition of Fitur has closed and, if one thing has become clear, it is that despite the crisis the tourist sector continues to enjoy rude
health.
The active surface space occupied by Fitur 2012 was smaller than on other occasions, yet the number of visitors has increased by 2% over last
year. Part of this success may be due to the fact that exhibitors have been far more involved and have increased their interest, creativity and,
above all, their professionalism.
Both the Community and the City Hall consider that this prize is also
a recognition of the austerity efforts made in these times of economic
crisis in presenting a joint stand and also in both organisms engaging
to collaborate more closely with the objective of increasing the number
of visitors to our Community, which has already become one of the
principal tourist destinations in Europe.
We must also emphasise the huge importance acquired by the new technologies, the internet and the social networks in recent editions of Fitur.
All of this merely corroborates something that we already knew, that Fitur continues to be an international standard on the tourist scene, which
is in turn the only sector that is still pulling the chariot of our ailing economy.
