Carlos Jean (June 15,1973) is a musician, singer, producer, remixer and Dj. His
capacity to understand and conjugate the different worlds that conforms music, has
made him one of the most versatile and prolific music creators. He is, without any
doubt, one of the key pieces that allows us to understand the past, present and
future of music in Spain. Specially in these times of changes and renovation.
Carlos Jean has produced numerous hit singles for various recording artist such
as Alejandro Sanz, Miguel Bosé, Juanes, Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Fey, Bebe, Marta
Sanchez, Tiziano Ferro, Bunbury, Carliños Brown, Hombres G, Rocio Jurado,
Raphael... To point some out. He has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide,
reaching the Latin market and USA. Along his career, Carlos Jean has obtained many
different awards and nominations including Grammy, Grammy Latinos, Premios de la
Música, Goya and Premios de los 40 Principales, just to point some out.
His “Plan B” has won many different awards including 40Principales award for “Best
Dance Proyect” and lately The “Rose D’Or” for a multiplatform program with his
friends of “El Hormiguero” de Antena3.
He's been working with “Coca-Cola Music Experience” to find talent allover the
net. Creating music for their ads and making amazing tour on 2014 with more than
60 shows all over Spain. Enjoyed by over a million people being the flash point in
Cadiz with 90.000 persons.
Adding value to music has been his constant search. Now he is doing it again with his
company MUWOM. They created a proyect that will be growing along with the
music. It won’t be just music, they will also create applications, video-games,
entertainment, and tons of surprises.
The first single "Wasting your time" was released on the 24th June together with
the video. Juan Diaz-Faes, a welll known illustrator, has been the person in charge to
give life Carlos Jean's world and his mob alter ego. While Imanol Ramos has animate
the whole video by making it extraordinary.
Now the video has over 125.000 views and the numbers are growing. It's been
tweet by Falcao, David Muñoz, Thibaud Courtois, Vanesa Romero and Florentino
Fernández to point some out.
