nuestras fronteras, con 12 campos en operación, una
acelerada planeación de otros interesantes complejos golfísticos
y el aval de torneos internacionales como el PGA Mayakoba
Golf Classic, único evento de la PGA fuera de Estados Unidos
y Canadá.
The golf circuit in and around Cancun makes it one of the
most competitive destinations both within and beyond our
borders. It offers 12 operating courses, other interesting golf
complexes in an advanced planning stage and the endorsement
of international tournaments such as the PGA Mayakoba Golf
Classic, the only PGA event to take place outside the United
States and Canada.
Cancún posee la infraestructura de una moderna y madura
metrópoli. Para quienes vienen a practicar Golf es importante
saber que el destino cuenta con el primer aeropuerto en llegadas
internacionales del país, con conexiones a los cuatro continentes,
además de carreteras seguras y bien señalizadas, una gran
variedad de opciones de hospedaje con cadenas hoteleras
que están entre las mejores del mundo, pero sobre todo que la
transportación a los campos es fácil, cómoda y eficiente.
Recorrer el circuito de campos de golf es sencillo, los resorts
de la zona ofrecen todo tipo de facilidades para sus huéspedes

Cancun has a modern and mature metropolitan infrastructure.
For those who come to play golf it is important to know that the
destination has the nation’s number one airport in international
arrivals, with connections to the four continents, as well as safe
and well kept highways and a great variety of lodging options in
hotel chains that are among the best in the world. But above all,
transportation to the courses is easy, comfortable and efficient.
Getting around the golf courses on the circuit is easy and
their resorts offer all kinds of facilities for their guests and golf
lovers. The destination’s quality guarantee is the seal of the
best course designers in the world, such as Jack Nicklaus, Greg
Norman, P.B. Dye, Robert Trent Jones Jr., Nick Price, Tom Fazio,
Tom Weiskopf and Robert von Hagge.
Currently there are several courses under construction, such
as the Cancun Country Club, with 36 holes on two 18 hole
courses, designed by Tom Fazio and Nick Price, which will be
developed to the standards of the PGA TOUR’S TPC Network
of Clubs and the Grand Coral Golf Riviera Maya, another course
designed by Nick Price.
Actualmente, existen varios campos en construcción como
Cancún Country Club, que contará con 36 hoyos de golf en dos
campos de 18 hoyos firmados por Tom Fazio y Nick Price, los
cuales se desarrollarán bajo los estándares de la PGA TOUR’s
TPC Network of Clubs y Grand Coral Golf Riviera Maya también
firmado por Nick Price.
Estos creadores han sabido incorporar las características
geográficas de la región integrando la naturaleza a sus diseños,
para ofrecer campos exclusivos con curvas, fairways y greens
desafiantes, un juego de declives moderados e intensos.
Existe una combinación perfecta entre el paisaje natural y los
mágicos alrededores con el dinámico y moderno diseño, todo
bajo la estricta preservación ambiental.
Los campos son de talla profesional y vanguardistas, algunos
combinan un alto grado de dificultad con espacios divertidos
para cualquier aficionado. Desde cualquier punto se puede
admirar la naturaleza de Cancún, escenarios con exuberantes
