Mexico’s Golf Ambassador.
Over thirty years ago, Chuck Kinder started BEST – Business Education Sports Tours.
He wanted to take his love of travel and golf and created a motto: “Travel the World in
Pursuit of Golf”. Like a surfer experiences a new wave in each location, so does the
golfer experience a different course every time he travels to a new destination. No two
are alike. For years Chuck took local California private golf club groups to Mexico for
Thanksgiving, forging friendships along the way that he still cherishes today. With a love
of golf, he encouraged the government and resort friends to develop golf in Mexico, and
he has been there every step of the way to chronicle and push the creation of excellent
golf facilities that give clients the “relaxing atmosphere” of Mexico, and the old-style
Scottish tradition of a caddy who could fetch your ball and tell you the read of each hole
you play. This still exists in Mexico today. As a way of showing the evolution of golf, and
the stories behind the players who invested in a green future, Chuck created the Golf
Guides to Mexico to bring that information to the masses. Then he created a golf travel
company for those that would call our offices to chew his ear, and ask where to stay.
Then came Real Estate, as rules change for foreign investors, and those in the US look
for the “old days” of relaxed play and beautiful sunsets.
Chuck has taken all that he loves about Mexico, and has spent his years sharing his
knowledge with others. In fact, he could be called the “Mexico Golf Ambassador”, if only
there were such a title!
