Manuel Larraga es una empresa especializada
en el diseño y fabricación de asientos tapizados
y mobiliario auxiliar fundada en 1987 por Manuel
Larraga y Rosaura Morata.
Manuel Larraga is a company specialised in the
design and manufacturing of upholstered seats and
auxiliary furniture founded in 1987 by Manuel Larraga
and Rosaura Morata.
La compañía, que mantiene su carácter personal
y cercano desde sus inicios, ha aprendido a
adaptarse a las nuevas tendencias, diseños
y requisitos del mercado de la decoración de
hogar y colectividades. En la actualidad, con la
incorporación de la segunda generación, Manuel
Larraga asegura la continuidad en el futuro de sus
valores.
The company has maintained its personal character
and direct approach from the beginning. Furthermore
the business has evolved and adapted to new
tendencies, designs and requirements of the home
decor and contract market. At Present, the second
generation is assuring the values of the company are
upheld and are continued for the future success of
the business.

Mecanismo de dos pliegues con apertura frontal en
dos movimientos por medio de extracción, quitando
previamente los cojines de asiento y respaldo.
La estructura de malla electrosoldada permite acomodar
un colchón de muelles de 14 cm de grosor y 190 cm
de largo. Existen otros tipos de colchones disponibles
(espuma, similatex, muelles ensacados, etc.)
Two fold mechanism with front lifting operation. Cushions
need to be removed before opening the mechanism.
The orthopaedic weld mesh sleeping base accommodates
a spring mattress 14 cm thickness and 190 cm length.
Other kind of mattresses are available at your request
(foam, polilatex, pocket spring, etc.)
El asiento descansa sobre cinchas elásticas. La estructura
está construida en tubo de acero de alta resistencia y
acabado con pintura al horno epoxi.
The seat is supported by elastic webbing. Frame is
constructed in high resistance cold rolled steel tube
and finished in epoxy resin, electro statically deposited,
oven baked.
Debido al tipo de anclaje de este mecanismo, ninguno
de los modelos de sofá cama con apertura tradicional se
fabrica con brazos desmontables.
Due to the mechanism used, the models of sofa bed with
traditional opening are not produced with detachable
armrests.

SOFA CAMA de apertura rápida
SOFA bed with quick opening
Mecanismo con apertura rápida por medio de rotación del
respaldo sobre el asiento. La transformación en cama se
realiza con un único movimiento sin necesidad de quitar
las almohadas ni del asiento ni del respaldo.
La estructura de malla electrosoldada permite acomodar
un colchón de muelles de 14 cm de grosor y 200 cm
de largo. Existen otros tipos de colchones disponibles
(espuma, viscoelastica, muelles ensacados, etc.).Asiento
de cinchas elásticas.
La estructura está construida en tubo de acero de alta
resistencia y acabado con pintura al horno epoxi.
Estructura completamente desmontable provista de
anclajes para fácil montaje y desmontaje de brazos y
paneles frontal y trasero. Debido al tipo de sistema, los
almohadones de respaldo se realizan siempre rellenos de
espuma HR.

Las estructuras están realizadas en madera
maciza encoladas y ensambladas con uniones
mediante espigados de madera maciza y grapas
de ebanistería.
La madera utilizada para las partes principales
de la estructura y partes visibles es siempre
haya, las partes secundarias se realizan en
maderas de pino, chopo o eucalipto.
Frames are made in solid wood glued and
assembled with wood junction pins and staples.
Used wood for main parts of the frame and
visible parts is always beech wood, and
secondary parts are made with pine, black
poplar or eucalyptus wood.

Las estructuras de madera se cubren mediante
espumas de poliuretano de diferentes
densidades y fibras de poliéster dependiendo
del diseño de la pieza. Las espumas se unen
mediante grapas y pegamento de base acuosa
cuidadosamente para obtener la forma deseada
de cada pieza.
Posibilidad de utilizar espumas de combustión modificada
para el cumplimiento de las diferentes normativas
ignifugas.
The wooden frames are covered with
polyurethane foam from different densities
and polyester fibres depending on the design
of the piece. The foams are joined with waterbase glue and staples carefully to get the
desired shape.
Possibility of using combustion modified foams for
the accomplishing of the different flameretardant
regulations.

Los almohadones de asiento son
desenfundables mediante cremallera.
Los rellenos de los almohadones de asiento
dependiendo del diseño del modelo se pueden
realizar para una sentada firme con bloque
principal de espuma de poliuretano densidad
35 kg/m3, o con viscoelástica o bien con un
edredón de plumas y fibras para una sentada
más suave. Ambos tipos están diferenciados en
cada modelo con su correspondiente icono.
Existen otras opciones disponibles como asientos en
viscoelástica, asientos en densidad 40 kgs o asientos con
espumas de combustión modificada para cumplir normativas
ignifugas.
Every seat cushion is made with a cover with the
chosen fabric by the customer and with a zipper
to be able to remove it if necessary.
The fillings of the seat cushions depending on
the model can be made for a firm seating with a
main block of polyurethane foam covered with
polyester fibre or with memory foam or with a
cover with mixture of feathers and fibres for a
softer seating. Both kind of fillings are indicated
in each model with its corresponding icon.
Other options are available as per seats density 40
kgs or seats with combustion modified foam to
accomplish different flame retardant standards.

El proceso de tapizado de nuestras piezas
se realiza cuidadosamente siguiendo el estilo
tradicional artesano. Siendo todas las fundas de
los cojines y almohadones desenfundables, la
tapicería recomendada para la colección Manuel
Larraga es el tapizado fijo a la estrutura. De este
modo se pueden realizar acabados artesanales
como el capitoné o tachueleado decorativo.
The upholstery process of our pieces is made
carefully following the traditional hand-craft style.
Being all the covers of cushions to be removable,
the recommended upholstery for the Manuel
Larraga collection is fixed upholstery. In this way,
traditional hand-craft finishings such as capitone
or nailing can be applied.
El acabado con capitoné se realiza de forma
tradicional formando rombos mediante

Ciertas piezas de la colección permiten la
utilización de mecanismos bien en su diseño
como estándar o bien como alternativa
opcional. En cada caso se indica con el icono
correspondiente.
Some pieces of the collection allow the use of
mechanisms as standard or as an option. In
each case, it is indicated with the following icons.
Mecanismo mediante el cual la parte frontal bajo el asiento se abate para
utilizarse como reposapiés al mismo tiempo que el respaldo se reclina. Este
mecanismo es manual de forma estándar y en ciertos modelos se puede
utilizar con mecanismo motor.
Mechanism whereby the front part under the seat is opened to be used as
a footrest and the backrest is inclined at the same time. This mechanism
is manual as standard and in certain models can be used with an engine
mechanism.
Mecanismo mediante el cual el propio almohadón de asiento desliza para
conseguir un mayor espacio de asiento. Puede ser un deslizamiento manual
con tres posiciones o bien mediante motor. En ambos casos el deslizamiento
máximo es de 38 cm.
Mechanism whereby the own seat cushion moves to get a wider seat space.
The movement can be adjusted manually with three positions or with the
