Miranda
Constanza holds a PhD in Design Anthropology from NC State University. She has worked extensively in
system projects and academic research in the areas of education, health and social inequality. She fulfilled
her doctoral research as a visiting scholar at Stanford’s School of Engineering working on team innovation. She has carried out various professional endeavors in Europe such as Braun/Gillette, Karl Storz
Endoskope, Design Continuum Milan; as well as in the United States with consultancies like Cooper (IxD).
Today she is head of the DILAB: Engineering Design Initiative at PUC’s school of engineering.
Catalina is a civil engineer, with mention in structural design and holds a Master’s degree in
Media Studies and an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons-The New School for
Design which focused on creative coding and physical computing. Her interests, include
interactive design as a tool to communicate/express collective feelings, and to create
awareness and positive changes in today’s world.
