City-tour by coach

A coach tour along the banks of the river and through
the various quarters of the city, particularly the "German“
quarter (around place de la République) and the European
quarter (passing in front of the Palais de l'Europe,
the Human Rights Building and the European Parliament).

The Cathedral
Strasbourg's museums
It holds some of the greatest sculptures from
the Middle Ages, particularly from the
Cathedral and a rich collection
of stained-glass windows, tapestries,
gold and silver work and furniture
from the 11th to the 17th century.

4B Alsatian Museum
A shining example of gothic art, as famous
for its Astronomical Clock as for its statues
(Pillar of the Angels, Church and Synagogue…),
organ, pulpit and exceptional stained-glass windows.
Here you will find out all about traditional life in Alsace over the centuries
(decoratively painted furniture, costume, coloured prints, toys, a reconstitution of a typical Alsatian interior…).

the Maison Kammerzell, place Gutenberg, St-Thomas church,

The size of its regional archeological
collections makes this museum one
of the richest in France (Bronze and Iron Age
burial remains, objects from the Roman legion's
camp, Merovingian jewellery…).

of the City of Strasbourg
The presentation of the museum’s collection is organized
around 2 great chapters of the history of Strasbourg: free
town of the Holy Roman Empire (1262-1681) and the Royal
city (1681-1800)
with the magnificent
scale model of 1727.

(Greco, Goya), French paintings (Lorrain, Largillière,
Watteau, Boucher, Champaigne, Delacroix, Courbet),
Flemish paintings (Van Dyck, Rubens)…

The entrance fee to the museum is not included
(group rates for a minimum of 25 people ;
free for school children). Groups limited in number,
depending on the museum.
4G Museum of Modern
and Contemporary Art
Works of famous artists (Monet, Picasso,
Sarkis… among which two are native of
Strasbourg, G. Doré and J. H. Arp), major
works from the pioneers of abstraction
(Kandinsky, Kupka), the masters of
surrealism (Ernst, Masson, Brauner)
and major figures of contemporary art.
4H Tomi Ungerer Museum
International Centre
for Illustration
It holds a collection of 8000
drawings donated by Tomi Ungerer,
the internationally renowned artist
and illustrator born 1931,
to his native city of Strasbourg.
