DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT
PHALPLAC is the name of the modular metal ceilings of Industrial Gradhermetic, S.A.E.
Within the wide variety of models of the PHALPLAC range it is easy to find the best modular ceiling for each
type of construction.
The ceilings PHALPLAC are made in alluminium or galvanized steel of high performance, coated in a
continuous process with polyester-polyamide or polyester-polyurethane-polyamide paint, or
powder-coated and heat-strengthened.
All the types of PHALPLAC are removable and allow an esay access to plenum.
Available in wide range of colours of Gradhermetic chart.

TYPES OF SURFACE
SMOOTH: Non perforated.
PERFORATED:
· With round hole perforations of ø2.5 mm, quincunx pattern (D) (open area: 23%) or square
pattern (A) (open area: 16%).
·
With square hole perforations of 3 mm side. Distance between the holes: 5 (open area: 34%)
or 10% (open area: 17%).
MICROPERFORATED: Round hole perforations of ø1.5 mm, square pattern (B), 11.5% of open area.

FINISH
COIL-COATING:
Polyester-polyamide or polyester-polyurethane-polyamide paint, 15–22 µ,
applied in a continuous process and oven dried according to the
regulations and specifications of the ECCA (European Coil Coating
Association).
COIL-COATING DI system (special for perforated tiles):
Consists of two coats of polyester-polyamide or polyester-polyurethanepolyamide paint (23-30 µ thick in total) applied in a continuous process and oven dried, that
protects also the edge of the hole perforations.
POWDER-COATED:
Powder-coated and heat-strengthened polyester paint, 60-90 µ thick.
SUSPENSION SYSTEM
There are two types of installation:
SUSPENDED TILES:
With hook-shaped edges to hang from a “H” rail (secondary).
CLIP IN TILES:
Two of the four sides of tiles are provided with some bulges that once inside
the clip in profile allow it to hold up the tiles.
