Vallejo fue uno de los primeros fabricantes en Europa en la producción
de acrílicos para artistas. En los años 70 introdujo su producto Acrylic Artist
Color, envasado en tubos de aluminio de 58 ml. El mundo de arte era efervescente y emprendedor y los grandes formatos, murales y eventos eran de
actualidad. En 1980 unos artistas jóvenes de la facultad de Bellas Artes de
Barcelona convencieron a Amadeo Vallejo de la necesidad de producir una
pintura acrílica para bellas artes, pero presentado en tamaños grandes, y a un
precio asequible. El resultado fue Acrylic Studio, 12 colores en un envase de
plástico de 200 ml. en su día un producto pionero e innovador.
En la formulación de esta gama de colores, Vallejo tuvo en cuenta la protección del medio ambiente, rechazando todos los pigmentos derivados de
metales pesados o los que podrían presentar un mínimo riesgo de toxicidad
en su fabricación, manipulación o eliminación de residuos. Acrylic Studio es
completamente permanente y resistente a rayos U.V. y no contiene cargas ni
ningún otro producto entendedor; la utilización de las resinas y pigmentos más
puros produce tonos de máxima luminosidad y calidad cromática.
Durante los años se ha ampliado la gama hasta 47 colores, fabricados con
los mejores materiales para bellas artes, pero evitando pigmentos de costes
muy elevados para poder seguir ofreciendo todos los colores a un precio uniforme y moderado tanto en pequeños como en grandes envasados.
En la etiqueta se facilita el grado de permanencia y opacidad, y el número
internacional del Color Index de cada pigmento como garantía de calidad y
para facilitar al artista su estudio y desarrollo, y todos los colores tienen la
certificación de ASTM D-4236.
Acrylic Studio es compatible con Acrylic Artist color, Liquid Acrylic y Acrylic
Gouache, y con todos los demás acrílicos de calidad bellas artes. Los colores
se pueden diluir con agua si se desea, o mezclar con mediums y texturas
acrílicos. Son igualmente idóneos para estudiantes como para artistas profesionales, y han sido recomendados especialmente para murales y cuadros de
grandes tamaños.
La Gama de Studio incluye la imprimación Studio Gesso en 750 ml., y el
Médium Primal en varios tamaños. Primal, Ref. 27 es la misma resina 100%
acrilica que se emplea en la fabricación de los colores; se utiliza para mezclas,
veladuras y como barniz protector brillante.

Vallejo was one of the first two European manufacturers of acrylic colors for fine arts, introducing
Acrylic Artist Color in the early 1970ties. The colors
were packaged in 58 ml. aluminium tubes. The
art scene was effervescent and enterprising,
and large paintings, murals and happenings
were the trend. In 1980 a group of young artists from the Fine Arts Univerisity in Barcelona convinced Amadeo Vallejo of the need for
acrylic colors for artists in large units marketed at an accessible price. The result was
Acrylic Studio, 12 colors in 200 ml. plastic
bottles, a unique and ground-breaking product at that time.
In the formulation of these new colors,
Vallejo employed the utmost consideration
for ecological consequences, discarding all
those pigments derived from heavy metals or presenting
even a minimal risk of toxic residuals in their manufacture, application or disposal. Acrylic Studio is completely permanent and lightfast (UV resistant) , and
does not contain fillers of any kind: only full strength resins and pigments have
been used, so that the colours are of unequalled purity and chromatic quality.
Over the years new colors were incorporated, new resins and new pigments
have become available, and now the range of STUDIO consists of 47 colors,
manufactured to satisfy the highest standards of quality and environmental
safety, while at the same time fulfilling the need for acrylics of moderate and
uniform cost.
The label of each unit carries permanency and opacity ratings, and the international colour index number so that the can artist to study and develop the
colour to its fullest possibilities. All colours have the ASTM D5098 certification.
Acrylic Studio is compatible with Acrylic Artist Color, Liquid Acrylic, Acrylic
Gouache and all other fine arts acrylics. The colours can be diluted with water
if desired, or mixed with all acrylic mediums. They are as suitable for the student as for the professional artist, and have been is especially recommended
for large surfaces and murals.
The Studio range includes the primer Studio Gesso in 750ml. packaging,
and Primal in all the standard Studio sizes. Primal, Ref. 27, is the same 100%
acrylic resin which has been employed in the formulation of the colors, and is
used for mixing, glazes and as a final protective varnish.

Nella formulazione di questa gamma di colori Vallejo ha tenuto in conto la

loro fabbricazione, manipolazione o in fase di eliminazione di residui. Acrylic
Studio è totalmente permanente e resistente ai raggi ultravioletti e non contiene carichi né altri tipi di prodotti per estenderli; l’utilizzo delle resine e dei
pigmenti più puri produce toni della massima luminosità e qualità cromatica.
Nel corso degli anni si è proceduto all’ampliamento della gamma fino a 47
colori, fabbricati con i migliori materiali per Belle Arti, ma evitando i pigmenti
dai costi troppo elevati, al fine di poter continuare ad offrire tutti i colori ad un
prezzo omogeneo e moderato sia per le piccole che per le grandi confezioni.
Sull’etichetta vengono segnalati il grado di permanenza e di opacità e il
numero internazionale del Color Index di ogni pigmento, sia come garanzia di
qualità che per facilitare all’artista il suo studio e sviluppo, e a tutti i colori è
stato assegnato il certificato ASTM D-4236.
Acrylic Studio è compatibile con Acrylic Artist Color, Liquid Acrylic e Acrylic
Gouache, e con tutti gli altri acrilici di qualità per Belle Arti. Se lo si desidera,
i colori possono essere diluiti con acqua, oppure mescolati con medium e
texture acriliche. Sono altrettanto idonei sia per studenti che per artisti professionali, e sono specialmente raccomandati per murales e quadri di grandi
dimensioni.

damals dynamisch und unternehmungslustig. Großformate, Wandgemälde

von einigen jungen Künstlern von der Fakultät für Schöne Künste in Barcelona
von der Notwendigkeit überzeugt, Künstler-Acrylfarben in größeren Behältern
und zu erschwinglichen Preisen anzubieten. Das Ergebnis war Acrylic Studio:
12 Farben in 200-ml-Kunststoffflaschen, seinerzeit ein bahnbrechendes und
innovatives Produkt.
Bei der Entwicklung der Farben für diese Produktreihe berücksichtigte
Vallejo die Anforderungen des Umweltschutzes und lehnte den Einsatz von
schwermetallhaltigen Pigmenten sowie solchen, die bei der Fabrikation, Handhabung oder Entsorgung toxische Risiken aufweisen könnten, ab. Acrylic Studio
ist äußerst stabil und lichtecht und enthält keine Füllstoffe oder Streckmittel;
durch die Verwendung reinster Harze und Pigmente sind optimale Farbkraft
und Farbqualität gewährleistet.
Im Laufe der Jahre ist die Produktreihe auf 47 Farben angewachsen, die
aus hochwertigen Rohstoffen hergestellt werden. Auf sehr teure Pigmente wird
dabei allerdings verzichtet, um alle Farben sowohl in kleineren als auch in
größeren Behältern auch weiterhin zum gleichen gemäßigten Preis anbieten
zu können.
Auf dem Etikett werden als Qualitätsgarantie und um dem Künstler seine
Studien und seine Entwicklung zu erleichtern, der Lichtechtheits- und der
Deckungsgrad der jeweiligen Farbe sowie die internationale Farbindexnummer
jedes Pigments angegeben. Alle Farben erfüllen die strengen Anforderungen
des amerikanischen Standards ASTM D-4236.
Acrylic Studio ist mit Acrylic Artist Color, Liquid Acrylic und Acrylic Gouache
sowie allen anderen Acrylfarben in Künstlerqualität kompatibel. Gegebenenfalls können die Farben mit Wasser verdünnt oder mit Malmitteln für Acryl und
Acrylpasten kombiniert werden. Sie sind für angehende und professionelle
Künstler gleichermaßen gut geeignet und werden gern für Wandmalereien und
großformatige Gemälde verwendet.
Die Produktreihe Studio umfasst das Grundiermittel Studio Gesso im 750
ml. Behälter und das Malmittel Primal in verschiedenen Behältergrößen.
Primal (Art.-Nr. 27) ist das gleiche 100 % reine Acrylharz, das auch bei der
Farbenherstellung zur Anwendung kommt; es wird für Mischungen, Lasuren
und als glänzender Schutzlack eingesetzt.

Vallejo var en av de første europeiske produsenter av akrylmaling for kunstnere. På TIDLIG 70-tallet introduserte Vallejo produktet Acrylic Artist Color, i
58 ml aluminiumstuber. Kunstverdenen var sprudlende og full av nye initiativ,
og bilder i store format, veggmalerier og happenings var alle på moten. I 1980
klarte noen unge kunstnere ved UNIVERSITET for BILDE kunst i Barcelona å
overbevise Amadeo Vallejo om behovet for at det ble produsert en akrylmaling
for billedkunst, som kunne selges i store pakninger til en GUNSTIG pris. Resultatet var Acrylic Studio, 12 farger i 200 ml plastinnpakning, et produkt som
representerte en viktig nyvinning i sin tid.
I sammensetningen av denne fargeserien unngikk Vallejo av hensyn til miljøet alle pigmenter utvunnet av tungmetall og de som kunne representere
noen slags risiko for giftighet i produksjon, bruk eller avfallshåndtering. Acrylic
Studio er fullstendig permanent og motstandsdyktig mot UV-stråler og inneholder ikke fortykningsmiddel eller andre drøyende bestanddeler; bruken av
ren harpiks og rene pigmenter produserer skinnende fargetoner av maksimal
kromatisk kvalitet.
I løpet av årene har produktlinjen økt til 47 farger, alle produsert med de
beste materialene for BILDE- kunst, men uten bruk av dyre pigmenter, noe
som har gjort det mulig å kunne fortsette å tilby alle fargene til den samme
lave prisen, både i små og store størrelser.
På etiketten finnes opplysninger om varighets- og dekningsgrad, og det
internasjonale Color Index-nummeret til hvert pigment, som en kvalitetsgaranti

Vallejo foi um dos primeiros fabricantes na Europa a produzir acrílicos para
artistas. Nos anos 70 introduziu o seu produto Acrylic Artist Color, embalado
em tubos de alumínio de 58 ml. O mundo da arte era efervescente e empreendedor e os grandes formatos, murais e eventos estavam na moda. Em 1980
artistas jovens da Faculdade de Belas Artes de Barcelona convenceram Amadeo Vallejo da necessidade de produzir uma tinta acrílica para belas artes,
mas apresentada em tamanhos grandes a um preço exequível. O resultado
foi Acrylic Studio, 12 cores numa embalagem de plástico de 200 ml. Naquele
tempo foi um produto pioneiro e inovador.
Na fórmula desta gama de cores, Vallejo teve em conta a protecção do
meio ambiente, recusando todos os pigmentos derivados de metais pesados
ou aqueles que poderiam apresentar um risco mínimo de toxicidade no seu
fabrico, manipulação ou eliminação de resíduos. Acrylic Studio é completamente permanente e resistente a raios UV e não contém cargas nem nenhum
outro produto dissolvente; a utilização de resinas e pigmentos mais puros
produz tons de máxima luminosidade e qualidade cromática.
Durante estes anos, ampliou-se a gama até 47 cores, fabricadas com os

elevados para poder continuar a oferecer todas as cores a um preço uniforme
e moderado tanto em pequenas como em grandes embalagens.
Na etiqueta está patente o grau de permanência e opacidade, e o número
internacional da Cor Index de cada pigmento como garantia de qualidade e
para facilitar ao artista o seu estudo e desenvolvimento. Todas as cores têm a
certificação ASTM D-4236.
Acrylic Studio é compatível com Acrylic Artist Color, Liquid Acrylic e Acrylic
Gouache e com todos os outros acrílicos de qualidade belas artes. As cores
podem ser diluídas com água se se desejar ou misturar com médiums e texturas acrílicas. São igualmente idóneos para estudantes ou artistas profissionais e foram recomendadas especialmente para murais e quadros de grandes
tamanhos.

De firma Vallejo was een van de eerste fabrikanten in Europa van acrylverf
voor kunstenaars. In de jaren ‘70 lanceerde het bedrijf zijn Acrylic Artist Color,
verpakt in aluminiumtubes van 58 ml. De kunstwereld was toen bruisend en
energiek en extra grote schilderijen, muurschilderingen en happenings waren
de trend. In 1980, enkele jonge artiesten van de Schone Kunst faculteit in
Barcelona, overtuigden Amadeo Vallejo om een kunstenaars acrylverf in grote formaten en voor een betaalbare prijs aan te bieden. Het resultaat was
Acrylic Studio, 12 kleuren in plastic flacons van 200 ml., een vernieuwend en
baanbrekend product.
Bij het vervaardigen van deze kleurenreeks hield Vallejo rekening met het
milieu en gebruikte geen pigmenten ontleend van zware metalen, of materialen die zelf het kleinste risico konden inhouden in hun vervaardiging, gebruik of
afval verwijdering. Acrylic Studio is geheel permanent en bestendig tegen het
licht en UV-stralen; de kleuren bevatten geen enkele vulstof, en de zuiverheid

omvat nu 47 tinten, alle vervaardigd uit de beste producten voor schone kunsten en volgens uiterst milieu vriendelijke formules, terwijl steeds het gebruik
van dure pigmenten vermeden werd, zodat de kleuren nog steeds op een gelijke en matige prijs staan, zowel in kleinere als grotere verpakkingen.
Het etiket van Acrylic Studio vermeld de graad van bestendigheid en opaciteit en het internationale kleurindexcijfer van elk pigment zodat de kunstenaar de kleur ontleden en tot zijn volledige potentie ontwikkelen kan. Alle
kleuren bezitten het ASTM D-4236 certificaat.
Men kan Acrylic Studio combineren met Acrylic Artist color, Liquid Acrylic
en alle andere kunstenaars acrylverven. Indien gewenst kunnen de kleuren
met water verdund worden of gemengd met mediums en acryltexturen. Ze zijn
net zo geëigend voor studenten als voor professionele kunstenaars en worden
speciaal aangeraden voor grote doeken en muurschilderingen.
De serie van Acrylic Studio bevat Studio Gesso, een grondverf in een verpakking van 750 ml. en Medium Primal in haast alle formaten. Primal, ref. 27,
is een hars van 100% acryl die gebruikt wordt bij de vervaarding van de Studio
kleuren, in mengsels, voor glazuren en als een glanzend eind vernis.
