The year 2014 has largely brought
optimism on an economic level. On the
horizon, we can discern the end of an
era of uncertainty and the beginnings
of a recovery as eagerly awaited as it
is necessary for our society. At GRUPO
IBEROSTAR, immersed in one of the
sectors that serve as a thermometer for
evaluating the economic situation, we
see this improvement as a positive step
towards stability. The leisure market is
getting back on track, and parallel sectors
note this progression with hope and relief.
For our part, on a business strategy
level, we have continued to focus on
growth and expansion in traditional
and established destinations.
Our insistence on the development
of these historical IBEROSTAR spots,
such as Majorca, brings a guarantee of
success as we concentrate our efforts on
destinations that are widely accepted
by the public and whose potential
strengthens season after season.
Another challenge we have confronted
in 2014 has been that of maintaining our
determination in promoting the highest
standards of quality, improving services
and infrastructure. This eagerness to
improve produces positive results, as
illustrated by some of our hotels that
have obtained five-start status. Thus,
the IBEROSTAR Playa de Muro Village
(Majorca) and the IBEROSTAR Diar el
Andalus (Tunisia) have been promoted
from the Premium to the Premium Gold
category. Thanks to the pooling of all these
efforts and wide acceptance on the part
of our guests, GRUPO IBEROSTAR will
close 2013 with an increase in turnover
compared with the previous year.
Always engaged in direct contact with
our public and with society in general,
2014 has also been an important year
in our development within the sphere
of the internet and social networks.
Adaptation to new technologies is one of
the cornerstones of our communication,
and campaigns such as IBEROSTAR
Superfan and Inside IBEROSTAR are a
good measure of this. Our greater online
expansion and presence and our increased
number of partners are the result of a focus
on modernising ourselves and adapting
to the concerns of today’s society.
These successes highlight once again
that our best asset is the range of
professionals that make up GRUPO
IBEROSTAR; a large, close-knit and
committed family without which this
exciting project would not be possible.
And speaking of excitement, we must
mention the IBEROSTAR FOUNDATION,
through which we continue to perform
our social work, fully committed to the
most underprivileged sectors of society.
El año 2014 ha supuesto en gran medida
una inyección de optimismo a nivel
económico. En el horizonte vislumbramos
el final de la época de incertidumbre y
el principio de una recuperación tan
ansiada como necesaria para nuestra
sociedad. Desde GRUPO IBEROSTAR,
inmersos en uno de los sectores que
sirven como termómetro a la hora
de evaluar la coyuntura económica,
percibimos esta mejoría como un avance
positivo hacia la estabilidad. El mercado
vacacional recupera su rumbo y, de su
mano, los sectores paralelos advierten
con ilusión y alivio esta progresión.
Por nuestra parte, a nivel de estrategia
empresarial, hemos seguido apostando
por el crecimiento y la expansión en
destinos maduros y consolidados.
La insistencia en el desarrollo de estos
históricos enclaves IBEROSTAR, como es
el caso de Mallorca, supone una garantía
de éxito al enfocar nuestros esfuerzos en
destinos que cuentan con gran aceptación
por parte del público y cuyo potencial se
refuerza temporada tras temporada.
Otro de los retos que hemos afrontado
en el 2014, ha sido el de mantener
nuestro empeño en impulsar los más
altos estándares de calidad, mejorando
servicios e infraestructuras. Este afán de
superación arroja resultados positivos
como ha sido la obtención de la quinta
estrella en algunos de nuestros hoteles.
Así, el IBEROSTAR Playa de Muro Village
(Mallorca) y el IBEROSTAR Diar el Andalous
(Túnez) han aumentado su categoría
pasando de Premium a Premium Gold. La
unión de todos estos esfuerzos y su alta
aceptación por parte de nuestros clientes
ha supuesto que GRUPO IBEROSTAR
cerrara 2013 con un incremento en su
facturación respecto al año anterior.
Involucrados desde siempre en el
contacto directo con nuestro público y
con la sociedad en general, 2014 ha sido
también un año importante en nuestro
desarrollo dentro del ámbito de Internet
y las redes sociales. La adaptación a las
nuevas tecnologías es una de las piedras
angulares de nuestra comunicación y
campañas como Superfan IBEROSTAR e
Inside IBEROSTAR dan buena muestra de
ello. Nuestra mayor presencia y expansión
online y el incremento de nuestro número
de afiliados son el resultado de una apuesta
por modernizarnos y adecuarnos a las
inquietudes de la sociedad actual.
Con todo ello, destacar un año más
que nuestro mejor activo es el abanico
de profesionales que forman GRUPO
IBEROSTAR. Una gran familia integrada
e implicada sin la cual este ilusionante
proyecto no sería posible. Y al hablar
de ilusión, debemos mencionar la
FUNDACIÓN IBEROSTAR. A través de
ella seguimos realizando nuestra labor

los sectores más desfavorecidos.

lang ersehnten und notwendigen Aufschwung
für unsere Gesellschaft erahnen. Die IBEROSTAR
GRUPPE ist in einer Branche tätig, die als
Konjunkturbarometer gilt, sodass wir diese
Verbesserungen als einen positiven Schritt zur
Stabilität sehen. Der Urlaubsmarkt nimmt wieder
Fahrt auf und auch die verwandten
Wirtschaftszweige stellen mit Freude und
Erleichterung diesen Fortschritt fest.
Wir haben bei unserer Unternehmensstrategie
stets auf Wachstum und Expansion von
eingeführten und bewährten
Reisedestinationen gesetzt.
Dabei haben wir großen Wert auf die
Entwicklung historischer IBEROSTAR-Standorte
wie Mallorca gelegt und diese Tatsache stellt eine
echte Erfolgsgarantie dar, da wir damit unsere
Bemühungen in Reiseziele stecken, die sich bei
einem Großteil der Gäste besonderer Beliebtheit
erfreuen. So können wir das Potenzial dieser
Destinationen Saison für Saison steigern.
Eine weitere Herausforderung für das Jahr 2014
war es, unser kontinuierliches Bestreben nach
höchsten Qualitätsstandards beizubehalten und
Dienstleistungen und Infrastrukturen zu
verbessern. Diese Bemühungen, uns selbst zu
übertreffen, schlagen sich in erfreulichen
Ergebnissen nieder, wie etwa die Neueinstufung
zur 5-Sterne-Kategorie einiger unserer Hotels.
Beispielsweise sind das IBEROSTAR Playa de
Muro Village (Mallorca) und das IBEROSTAR
Diar el Andalous (Tunesien) von der PremiumKategorie in die Premium-Gold-Kategorie
aufgestiegen. Die Summe aller Anstrengungen
und die große Beliebtheit bei unseren Kunden
sorgten dafür, dass die IBEROSTAR GRUPPE das
Jahr 2013 im Vergleich zum Vorjahr mit einer
Umsatzsteigerung abschließen konnte.
Da wir uns schon immer für den direkten
Kontakt mit unseren Kunden und der
Gesellschaft im Allgemeinen eingesetzt haben,
war 2014 auch hinsichtlich unserer Entwicklung
in den Bereichen Internet und soziale Netzwerke
ein wichtiges Jahr. Die Anpassung an neue
Technologien ist einer der wichtigsten
Bestandteile unserer Kommunikation.
Kampagnen wie Superfan IBEROSTAR und
Inside IBEROSTAR sind hierfür ein gutes Beispiel.
Unsere verstärkte Präsenz und Expansion im
Internet sowie die Zunahme der Fangemeinde in
sozialen Netzwerken sind das Ergebnis unserer
ständigen Modernisierung und Anpassung an
die Interessen der heutigen Gesellschaft.
Damit kann auch in diesem Jahr erneut
unterstrichen werden, dass unser wertvollstes
Gut die Mitarbeiter sind, die die IBEROSTAR
GRUPPE zu dem machen, was sie ist. Eine große
Familie, in der jeder integriert und impliziert ist,
und ohne die dieses traumhafte Projekt nicht
möglich wäre. Und wenn wir von Träumen

Probably one of the factors that motivate us
most at IBEROSTAR is our relationship with
our guests, interacting with them and gaining
their confidence. Thus, after noting a significant
number of repeat clients, we have decided to
create the IBEROSTAR Superfan programme.
This initiative was born with the intention of
identifying all our guests who have become our
greatest champions, and rewarding them with
personalised days, to return to them part of the
affection and loyalty that they have deposited in
us. We hope to see IBEROSTAR Superfan become
a programme that identifies the real stories
of these extraordinary guests, documenting
their experiences and honouring them with a
collection of unforgettable activities.
Over the next five years, the objective is to
select five of our most loyal guests, identify
their booked dates and, during their stay, give
them the personalised Superfan package.
This preferential treatment includes a transfer
service, welcome from the hotel manager upon
arrival, room upgrade and special evening meal.
Before the meal, we will interview the selected
guests so they can explain their relationship
with IBEROSTAR, and we will present them
with an award recognising them as a Superfan.

Probablemente uno de los factores que más
nos motiva en IBEROSTAR es la relación con
nuestros clientes, la interacción con ellos y el
hecho de obtener su confianza. Así, al observar
que existe un importante número de clientes
repetidores, hemos decidido crear el programa
Superfan IBEROSTAR. Esta iniciativa nace con
la intención de identificar a todos esos clientes
que se han convertido en nuestros mayores
abanderados y premiarles con unas jornadas
personalizadas para devolverles parte del afecto
y fidelidad depositada en nosotros. Deseamos
que Superfan IBEROSTAR se convierta en un
programa que identifique las historias reales de
esos clientes extraordinarios, documentar sus
experiencias y agasajarles con un conjunto de
actividades inolvidables.
Durante los próximos cinco años, el objetivo es
el de seleccionar a cinco de nuestros mejores
clientes, identificar las fechas en las que realizan
su reserva y, durante su estancia, aplicarles el kit
personalizado Superfan. Dicho trato preferencial
implica el servicio de transfer, la recepción y
bienvenida por parte del director del hotel, un
upgrade en su habitación y una cena especial.

In den kommenden fünf Jahren wollen wir fünf
unserer besten Kunden auswählen, das Datum
ihrer Reservierung herausfinden und ihnen

Additionally, after the meal, they will receive a
surprise related to their emotional connection
with the brand.
As this initiative launched in 2014, we have
already had our first Superfan. Ildefonso
Sánchez-Moreno is an 89-year-old Spanish
guest who lives in Germany, and has been
coming to the IBEROSTAR Royal Andalus once
or twice a year for over a decade. During this
time, a powerful bond has been forged between
Ildefonso and his wife Ellen and the staff of the
hotel. He himself says, “They are not IBEROSTAR
employees. They are my friends.” Ildefonso, who
had previously requested an IBEROSTAR cap
from us, was moved when Toni Nadal handed
him one, exclusively dedicated to him. About his
favourite hotel, he remarked, “I love it. Everything
is just great. It is peaceful, the gastronomy could
not be better and every time there is something
new.” Finishing the interview, he commented,
“Now I am 90 years old, but I will continue
coming while I can and while my health allows
me to. And when I cannot come any more, I
will call them on the telephone to send my best
wishes.” That is how genuine Ildefonso, our first
and endearing IBEROSTAR Superfan, is.

realizando una o dos estancias anuales. Durante
este tiempo, se ha establecido un intenso
vínculo entre Ildefonso y su esposa Ellen con el
personal del hotel. Él mismo reconoce que “No
son trabajadores de IBEROSTAR. Son mis amigos”.
Ildefonso, que en su día nos había solicitado una
gorra de IBEROSTAR, se emocionó cuando Toni
Nadal le regaló una dedicada en exclusiva para él
y comentó en referencia a su hotel predilecto que
“Me encuentro formidablemente. Todo me gusta.
Es tranquilo, la gastronomía no puede ser mejor
y cada vez hay alguna cosa nueva”. A la hora de
finalizar la entrevista, afirmó que “Ahora cumplo
90 años, pero yo seguiré viniendo mientras
pueda y la salud me lo permita. Y cuando ya
no pueda llamaré por teléfono para poder
saludarlos”. Así de natural es Ildefonso, nuestro
primer y entrañable Superfan IBEROSTAR.

Royal Andalus seit mehr als zehn Jahren ein- oder
zweimal jährlich besucht. In dieser Zeit ist eine enge
Beziehung zwischen Ildefonso und seiner Frau Ellen
zum Hotelpersonal entstanden. So sagt er: „Für mich
sind sie keine Mitarbeiter von IBEROSTAR, sondern
meine Freunde.“ Ildefonso, der sich für seinen Tag
eine IBEROSTAR-Schirmmütze gewünscht hatte,
war sehr gerührt, als Toni Nadal ihm diese mit einer
persönlichen Widmung überreichte, und beschrieb
sein Lieblingshotel folgendermaßen: „Ich fühle
mich hier fantastisch, alles gefällt mir. Es ist ruhig, die
Gastronomie könnte nicht besser sein und jedes Mal
gibt es etwas Neues.“ Am Ende des Interviews betont
er noch: „Ich werde jetzt 90 Jahre alt, aber ich werde
noch solange hierherkommen, wie ich kann und es
mir meine Gesundheit erlaubt. Und wenn ich nicht
mehr kommen kann, werde ich einfach anrufen,
um mich nach meinen Freunden zu erkundigen.“

IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts has renewed its
agreement with Toni Nadal for a further three
years, and so our company will continue to
be present on the best courts and at the most
important tennis tournaments in the world.
The maximum exposure of the agreement
is through the now-famous cap bearing the
IBEROSTAR logo that Toni Nadal wears at all
his nephew’s matches.
Last June, in the run-up to Wimbledon, one of
the four grand slam tournaments, the uncle
and trainer of Rafael Nadal signed this renewal
with GRUPO IBEROSTAR in the IBEROSTAR
Royal Cupido. Following the signing,

loyalty programme. Thanks to this alliance, the

IBEROSTAR Bávaro Complex Spa
One of the great renovations carried out this
year has taken place in the IBEROSTAR Bávaro
complex in the Dominican Republic. The
spectacular SPA Sensations of this magnificent
five-star resort has been completely renovated.
On the ground floor you will find the reception,
the beauty salon and a wet zone with Turkish
bath, sauna, jacuzzi, Roman baths and pondstyle and bubble pools. The new hydrotherapy
circuit is complete with an outdoor pool with
waterfall, gooseneck shower and jets. The first
floor houses 24 massage cabins, two of them
doubles, and two VIP.

recepción, el salón de belleza y una zona húmeda
con hamman, sauna, jacuzzi, baños romanos y
piscinas pozo y de burbujas. El nuevo circuito de
hidroterapia se completa con una piscina exterior
con cascada, cuello de cisne y jets. La primera
planta alberga 24 cabinas de masajes, dos de ellas
dobles y dos Vip.

The large villas of this magnificent hotel bathed
in the waters of the Caribbean Sea have been
completely refurbished. These five independent
buildings, situated in the southern part of
the complex, comprise a total of 82 rooms
distributed among the Vicaria, Bugambilia,
Hibiscus, Plúmbago and Latana villas. The
first two, with two floors, are located in front
of the beach and all their ground floor rooms
have a private terrace and infinity pool. The
three remaining villas are scattered among the
gardens and have three floors, a solarium terrace
and pool.

totalidad. Estos cinco edificios independientes,
situados en la parte sur del complejo,
comprenden un total de 82 habitaciones

de dos niveles, se sitúan frente a la playa y

IBEROSTAR Diar el Andalus
Located on Port el Kantaoui beach in the heart
of the elegant holiday zone of Sousse in Tunisia,
this hotel has been completely renovated.
In Spring 2015, we will enjoy this paradise of
relaxation recently awarded its fifth star. To
obtain this recognition, the hotel has been
subject to a complete and rigorous renovation
process which has involved the redesigning of
its rooms, refurbishments such as that of the
lobby, reception and terraces, and great new
features such as the spa centre, gym and three
speciality restaurants. In addition, the hotel has
incorporated the exclusive Star Prestige concept
through which guests can access services and
advantages of genuine luxury. This renovation
will allow us to add a second Premium Gold
category hotel in the country.
IBEROSTAR Diar el Andalous, ubicado sobre
la playa de Port el Kantaoui en el corazón de la
elegante zona vacacional de Sousse en Túnez,
ha sido reformado íntegramente. En primavera
de 2015 disfrutaremos de este paraíso de relax
que estrena su quinta estrella. Para obtenerla ha
sido sometido a un completo y riguroso proceso
de renovación que ha supuesto el rediseño de
sus habitaciones, reformas como la del lobby,
recepción o terrazas y grandes novedades como
un centro Spa, gimnasio y tres restaurantes
temáticos. Además, el hotel incorpora el exclusivo
concepto Star Prestige mediante el cual acceder
a servicios y privilegios de verdadero lujo. Esta
reforma nos permitirá incorporar un segundo
hotel de la categoría Premium Gold en el país.

die Gartenanlagen verteilt und besitzen jeweils eine

Das IBEROSTAR Diar el Andalous am Strand von
Port el Kantaoui, mitten im Herzen des eleganten
tunesischen Urlaubsortes Sousse, ist komplett
renoviert worden. Im Frühjahr 2015 steht diese
paradiesische Anlage wieder für entspannende
Urlaubstage zur Verfügung und zwar jetzt mit fünf
Sternen. Um diesen fünften Stern zu erobern, wurde
der Hotelkomplex einem vollständigen und streng
überwachten Renovierungsprozess unterzogen, bei
dem die Zimmer umgestaltet wurden und Umbauten
in der Lobby, an der Rezeption und an der Terrasse
vorgenommen wurden. Außerdem gibt es großartige
Neuheiten wie das Spa-Center, ein Fitnessstudio und
drei Spezialitätenrestaurants. Zudem wird in dem
Hotel fortan das exklusive Star-Prestige-Konzept mit
Dienstleistungen und Privilegien geboten, die von
echtem Luxus zeugen. Mit dieser komplett renovierten
Anlage besitzen wir nun zwei Hotels der PremiumGold-Kategorie in diesem Land.

Our welcoming hotel in Playa de Palma
(Majorca), the IBEROSTAR Royal Cristina
presents a complete renovation and a new
floor completed in May and increasing its
capacity to 405 with 75 new rooms. Among the
improvements, a new heated outdoor pool has
been added, the restaurant and bar have been
extended and a Chill-Out terrace with pool
and jacuzzi has been constructed. Through
the refurbishment of practically all the
facilities, we aim to improve the functionality
and bring modernity and design to one of our
most emblematic hotels.

Spanish haute cuisine is going on tour with
IBEROSTAR between October 2014 and October
2015. Through this ambitious initiative, we
explore the flavours and creativity of some
of the most renowned Spanish chefs, with
exclusive tours to IBEROSTAR hotels in the
Caribbean (Dominican Republic, Cuba and
Mexico) and Spain. The goal is to export the
best haute cuisine our country has to offer,
from 16 prestigious chefs with more than 20
Michelin stars between them who will regale us
with their best creations in a unique culinary
experience.
Iberostarchef on Tour, a project which comes
under the Iberostarchef concept, was launched
in October in the Dominican Republic by Dani

which concluded in Cuba and Mexico. Next
on the list was Ángel León, winner of the
National Gastronomy Award 2012. The Cadiz
native, nicknamed “chef del mar” (chef of
the sea) visited our Caribbean kitchens in
December, preparing some of the dishes that
have brought such success to his Aponiente
restaurant. January is the month of Quinque
Dacosta and the three Michelin stars held
by his restaurant in Denia. In the Dominican
Republic, Cuba and Mexico we will be able to
sample the amazing recipes of this model of
modern cuisine. In February, in Playa de Muro
(Majorca), we will have the innovative Andoni
Aduriz as we sample his creations which have
brought his Mugaritz restaurant two coveted
stars. The following five appearances will
take place in our Caribbean resorts. With two
more dazzling Michelin stars, in March we will
welcome Asturian Nacho Manzano, owner of
Casa Marcial and considered one of the great
chef malagueño ofreció sus creaciones en

Manuel de la Osa, whose focus on cuisine that
combines tradition and avant-garde has made
him worthy of two stars, one for each of the
restaurants he runs: Las Rejas and Ars Natura.
Maintaining this very high standards, we will
receive Galician Pepe Solla in May. Another
chef with unstoppable potential, Solla, with
his homeland vocation, has created a niche
among the titans of Spanish gastronomy. June
is reserved for the talented Fernando Pérez
Arellano, whose emphasis on technical and
conceptual cuisine has resulted in his Zaranda
restaurant receiving a star. We will continue,
in July 2015, with three meals prepared by
renowned Jordi Cruz. Holder of two stars
with his ABaC restaurant-hotel, the chef will
offer some of the gems from his recipe book.
In August we will travel to Tenerife with Pepe
Rodríguez, chef of Bohío, who will visit the
IBEROSTAR Anthelia to offer us his version of
the best Castilian-Manchegan cuisine. And in
September we will close the individual tours in

The show’s creational process is born of our
creative team meetings. In them, the theme
and name of the show are decided, based
on the hotel and destination in which they
will be performed. From there, we develop
the content of the show, which usually lasts
between 45 and 55 minutes. The outline which
will define the staging, wardrobe selection,
lighting and sourcing of all the necessary
materials is worked on meticulously, focusing
on the quality and creativity of the event.
Having reached this point, we begin the
rehearsals, and commence a dress- and scenemaking process that requires between three
and four months of dedication. On the other

At IBEROSTAR we always mention the
love and care we put into our gastronomy.
Determined to impress our guests with
our high-quality cuisine, we know that an
important part of the culinary experience
at IBEROSTAR comes from the setting and
the décor of our speciality restaurants. An
example of this is the Pacific Express, a
gourmet restaurant within the IBEROSTAR
Playa Mita, in Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit.
Pacific Express is born as a project led by José
Deudero, IBEROSTAR’s corporate decorator
for the last 26 years. As with the majority of
his works, this initiative is based on his own
experiences. In this case, Deudero travels
back to his childhood, a time when he felt
drawn to the world of trains. Our creator spent
years thinking about creating a restaurant set
in the atmosphere of the railways, and he has
finally found the ideal location in which to do
it: Playa Mita.

culinaria en IBEROSTAR viene de la mano de
la ambientación y la decoración de nuestros
restaurantes de especialidades. Un ejemplo de
ello es el Pacific Express, restaurante gourmet
emplazado en el IBEROSTAR Playa Mita, en la
Riviera Nayarit de México.
Pacific Express nace como un proyecto liderado
por José Deudero, Decorador Corporativo de
IBEROSTAR durante los últimos 26 años. Al igual
que la mayoría de sus obras, esta apuesta se
basa en sus propias experiencias. En este caso,
Deudero viajó a su infancia, época en la que se
sentía atraído por el mundo de los trenes. Nuestro
creador llevaba años manejando la idea de crear
un restaurante ambientado en la atmósfera
de los ferrocarriles y por fin ha encontrado la
localización idónea en la que plasmarlo: Playa Mita.

bei IBEROSTAR darstellen. Ein Beispiel dafür ist das
Gourmet-Restaurant Pacific Express im IBEROSTAR
Playa Mita an der Riviera Nayarit in Mexiko.
Die Idee für das Pacific Express stammt von José
Deudero, der seit 26 Jahren für die Dekoration
bei IBEROSTAR verantwortlich ist. Genauso wie
die meisten seiner Werke stützt sich auch dieses
Projekt auf seine eigenen Erfahrungen. In diesem
Falle versetzte er sich in seine Kindheit zurück, als
er sich für alles begeisterte, was mit Zügen zu tun
hatte. Unser Dekorateur hatte schon seit vielen
Jahren die Vorstellung von einem Restaurant mit
echter Eisenbahnatmosphäre und schließlich bot
sich ihm Gelegenheit, diese umzusetzen, und zwar
im Playa Mita.

The restaurant, inspired by the hundredyear-old Sóller train (Majorca), has two areas.
Entering through a door evoking grand train
stations, a platform separates the two, set and
decorated as two train carriages. The interior
of these, built in an IBEROSTAR workshop in
the Dominican Republic, has been produced
in mahogany as a tribute to the old trains that
were made of this material.
El restaurante, inspirado en el centenario tren de
Sóller (Mallorca), consta de 2 zonas ambientadas
y decoradas como dos vagones separados por
un andén al que se accede por una puerta que
recuerda a las entradas de las grandes estaciones.
El interior de los vagones, construidos en un taller
de IBEROSTAR en República Dominicana, se ha
fabricado en caoba como homenaje a los antiguos
trenes que se construían de este material.

Das Restaurant ist an der über hundert Jahre alten
Eisenbahn von Sóller (Mallorca) inspiriert und
in zwei Bereiche eingeteilt, die wie Zugwaggons
ausgestattet und dekoriert sind. Sie werden von
einem Bahnsteig getrennt, den man über eine
Tür erreicht, die an die Eingänge großer Bahnhöfe
erinnert. Die Innenräume der Waggons wurden in
einer IBEROSTAR-Werkstatt in der Dominikanischen
Republik aus Mahagoniholz hergestellt und sind
damit eine Hommage an die alten Eisenbahnen, die
mit diesem Material verkleidet waren.
Neben dem spektakulären Ambiente hebt sich das
Pacific Express aber auch durch sein exquisites
gastronomisches Angebot ab. Hier kann man die
französische Haute Cuisine mit erlesenen saisonalen
Produkten genießen und die neuesten kulinarischen

Since its birth in the year 2004, the
Iberostar Foundation has maintained a
constant commitment to helping the most
underprivileged groups of society, paying
special attention to children and promoting
projects within the domains of social welfare
and education.
One of the most prominent activities that we
have developed in 2014 has been the reform
of Ca l’Ardiaca, a reception centre in Majorca
directed at people at risk of social exclusion.
This renovation of the facilities has enabled
the capacity of the centre to increase by

reforma de Ca l’Ardiaca, centro de acogida
ubicado en Mallorca y dirigido a personas en
riesgo de exclusión social. Esta renovación
de las instalaciones ha permitido aumentar
en 50 plazas la capacidad del centro además

une el programa de Becas Iberostar mediante
las cuales, un año más, premiamos a aquellos
alumnos destacados de la Escola d’Hoteleria
de les Illes Balears en una clara apuesta por el
talento, la formación y la juventud como valores
de presente y futuro.

das Stipendienprogramm von IBEROSTAR ergänzt,
mit dem wir jedes Jahr die Studenten auszeichnen,
die sich an der balearischen Hotelfachschule Escola
d’Hoteleria de les Illes Balears durch gute Ergebnisse
hervortun. Damit unterstützen wir junge Talente und
setzen uns für die Ausbildung Jugend mit Blick auf
Gegenwart und Zukunft ein.
