CAREER
Mr. Fontcuberta has extensive professional experience in commercial contracts, industrial law, and M&A,
as well as in company law and consumer protection.
He was secretary of the board of directors of La Seda de Barcelona, S.A. from 2009 to 2012. He is
secretary of the board of directors and legal advisor of several companies. In addition to holding these
positions in other companies of the LSB Group, companies he has worked with, or continues to work
with, include Audi Tooling Barcelona, S.L., Gearbox del Prat, S.A., Audi Real Estate, S.L., Volkswagen
Group Retail Spain, S.L., Centro Técnico de SEAT, S.A., Profesionalia, S.A., BEABLOO, S.L. and Reial
Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona, S.A.D.
Recommended by several directories, including Best Lawyers, in Corporate and M&A. In 2009, Mr.
Fontcuberta was presented with the '40 under 40' award, which the prestigious publication Iberian
Lawyer Review grants to the top 40 lawyers under 40 years of age on the Iberian Peninsula.
ACADEMIA AND BUSINESS
Mr. Fontcuberta has lectured on courses at several schools, having lectured part time at the Higher
School for Business Administration and Management of 'ESADE-URL' since 1998. He lectures on various
courses in its law faculty and programs aimed at executives, in addition to lecturing on commercial law
at its Department of Private Law. A member of the Barcelona Bar Association, he also regularly gives
talks on commercial law in Spain and abroad.
He is author of the book El contrato de distribución de bienes de consumo y la llamada indemnización
por clientela (Consumer-Goods Distribution Contracts and Clientele Compensation), Tirant lo Blanch,
2009, and of the chapter Derecho de Empresa del MBA de ESADE (Business Law in the MBA at ESADE),
Planeta, 2010. Mr. Fontcuberta also has written many specialized articles and regularly writes articles in
the press.
