XVI CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL DE LA ASOCIACION HISPANOAMERICANA DE ACUPUNTURA, BEIJING’84 SANTA MARTA, COLOMBIA 21 AL 23 DE OCTUBRE 2016 PRECONGRESO 20 DE OCTUBRE 2016 GEOMETRÍA SAGRADA Y MEDICINA TRADICIONAL CHINA: UNA APROXIMACIÓN A LAS MÚLTIPLES DIMENSIONES DEL SER. Alejandra Ruz. Escuela Neijing. SACRED GEOMETRY AND TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE: AN APPROACH TO MULTIPLE DIMENSIONS OF THE BEING. Alejandra Ruz. Neijing School. Cartagena, Colombia This paper proposes a conjunction between Sacred Geometry and Traditional Chinese Medicine and a resulting therapeutic proposition, applied to 3 patients so far. Sacred geometry is the symbolic language of the Force of Creation, based on the creative template which includes the sphere, the spiral and five geometric figures originally described by Plato and known as Platonic solids (the hexahedron, the tetrahedron, the star tetrahedron, the octahedron, the dodecahedron and the icosahedron). These figures are considered to symbolize multiple dimensions of Creation in a manner similar to Traditional Chinese Medicine. From the dot to the square (the masculine?) and then the tetrahedron and the octahedron (triangle, mystery?) and from the movement of the octahedron arises the circumference (the feminine?) generating eight spheres called the seeds of life. Their XVI CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL DE LA ASOCIACION HISPANOAMERICANA DE ACUPUNTURA, BEIJING’84 SANTA MARTA, COLOMBIA 21 AL 23 DE OCTUBRE 2016 PRECONGRESO 20 DE OCTUBRE 2016 movement generates a toroidal ray tube, something like a donut, containing the rainbow’s 7 colors; it is considered the energy template of all Creation (the Octogram of Fu Xi, the 8 extraordinary channels?). This seed multiplies until it forms the fruit of life (13 spheres). Then the 5 basic geometric forms are generated (icosahedron and dodecahedron). These last two are described as the generation of the Christic Consciousness and the Christic network (the interconnection of all Creation.) Traditional Chinese Medicine considers that there is an unmeasurable Force that is the origin of everything, maintaining and sustaining all Creation. Additionally, it has described a series of centers of energy, called resonators in acupuncture. One interconnects with the other, creating channels, described since ancient times. The location of these resonators and their relationships in the human body are determined by a measure called cun which is proportional to each structure and corresponds to the golden ratio of scared geometry and to the Vitruvian man, drawn by Leonardo da Vinci. Could these charts of energy be interrelated? Basic geometric shapes of sacred geometry have been observed by spatially relating the resonators of the Du Mai channel and the Ben Shen resonators of the Bladder channel; acupuncture and moxibustion have been applied to them, considering them the “original template”. In this year of treatment applied to these patients, we have seen considerable changes in the relations with their families and their partners. Even though this proposition for the conjunction of ancestral wisdom can be new and still lacking in solid information, there are enough similarities between them so that we cannot ignore them. In order to make an evolutionary step, therapists should search for solutions that syntonize beyond the form and the circulation of energy. We have to syntonize with the being in the cosmic, multidimensional matrix. Keywords: sacred geometry, platonic solids, back, acupuncture, moxibustión, Traditional Chinese Medicine.
