The meeting was called to order at 9:23am by Ms. Orozco.
The Foshay Cadets presented the flag and Ms. Donis lead the pledge of allegiance.
Ms. Donis and Ms. Orozco read the vision and mission.
Ms. Beltran took attendance. There are 11 members present and there is a quorum. The meeting
is official.
Ms. Beltran read the minutes. Ms. Navarro moved to accept the minutes as they were read. Ms.
Caudillo seconded. The motion passes.
Ms. Edwards, the principal, thanked everyone for coming and wished everyone Merry
Christmas. She encouraged the parents to have their students read every day of the winter
vacation. She thanked all the parents for cooking and decorating. School will resume on January
9, 2011.
Ms. Beebe spoke about the Single Plan Update. We are waiting for the district to approve our
plan. She also reminded all the parents that attendance is very important and that the school lost
over $30,000 during the months of September, October and November because we do not have
100% student attendance. Students need to attend school every day. Ms. McCoy, the Title I
Coordinator, said that the budget did not change.
Ms. Adame, the Local District 7 Parent Liaison, conducted the Officer Induction Ceremony for
CEAC and ELAC officers. Each one signed a pledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities
of the office to which they were elected.
Ms. Beebe and Ms. McCoy distributed the Needs Assessment for all parents and community
members present to complete. Everyone should number the most important things that should be
purchased to improve student achievement. The committees will receive a report at the January
CEAC and ELAC meetings about the results, and they will be sent to School Site Council to help
plan the budget for 2012-2013.
Ms. Chavarria, Ms. Linares and Ms. Watson, Community Representatives, thanked everyone for
coming and wished everyone happy holidays.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:30am. The next meeting will be on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at
10:30am in J39/J40.

La Sra. Orozco dio la bienvenida y comenzó la junta a las 9:23am de la mañana.
Los Cadets de Foshay se hicieron el juramento a la bandera con la Sra. Donis.
La visión y la misión fueron leídas por Sra. Orozco y la Sra. Donis.
Paso lista la Sra. Beltrán. Hay 11 miembros y hay quórum. Es una junta oficial.
La Sra. Beltrán leyó los minutos. La Sra. Navarro hizo una moción para aceptar los minutos
como fueron leídos. La Sra. Caudillo hizo el secundo. La moción pasa.
La Sra. Edwards, la directora, dio las gracias por estar aquí y dijo Feliz Navidad para todos. Dijo
que todos los estudiantes van a salir de vacaciones ella quiere que sigan leendo cada dia y
agradecio a todos los padres por cosinar y decorar. Nos vemos el 9 de enero, 2012.
La Srta. Beebe hablo sobre la Actualizacion del Plan Unico. Ella dijo que en los meses de
septiembre, octubre y noviembre, perdio la escuela $30,000 a causa de ausencia. No estamos al
100% de asistencia. Por eso es importante que mandemos todos los dias a nuestros hijos a la
escuela. La Sra. McCoy, Coordinadora del Titulo I, dijo que no ha cambiado el presupuesto.
La Sra. Adame, el Enlace del Padre del Distrito Local 7, condujo la Ceremonia de la Inducción
del Oficial para los oficiales de CEAC y de ELAC. Cada uno firmó un compromiso para realizar
los deberes y las responsabilidades de la oficina a la cual fueron elegidos.
La Srta. Beebe y la Sra. McCoy distribuyó el Asesoriamento del Presupuesto Financiero para
todos los padres y miembros de la comunidad presentes terminar. Cada uno debe numerar las
cosas más importantes que se deben comprar para mejorar el logro del estudiante. Los comités
recibirán un informe en las reuniones del enero de CEAC y de ELAC sobre los resultados, y les
enviarán al Consejo del Sitio Escolar para ayudar al plan del presupuesto para 2012-2013.
La Sra. Chavarria, Sra. Linares y Sra. Watson, Representantes de la Comunidad, agradecieron
cada uno por venir y deseaba cada una Feliz Navidad.
La reunión fue aplazada en 10:30am. La reunión siguiente será el jueves, 19 de enero, 2012 en
10:30am en J39/J40.
