Contribuciones de In Kind
son regalos de bienes o servicios (no dinero) para
nuestro programa.
Para contar donaciones de
In Kind, los bienes deben ser
algo que tiene propósito o
valor al programa ese programa normalmente pagaría
por si no fue donado.
Donaciones de tiempo voluntario por los padres o miembros de la comunidad generalmente cuenta como donaciones de In Kind.
Partido no-federal
Head Start es un programa con fondos federales. Como un requisito de la
beca, Head Start es necesario tener
un 25% partido local desde contribuciones de In Kind. Si, nuestro partido
no se cumple, nuestro programa pierde fondos operativos.
Para 2016-2017, la cantidad que debemos elevar para nuestro partido es
$137,956.00. Mucho de lo que recibimos a traves de donaciones del Distrito Escolar del Condado de Lake y
agencias locales, como Salud Publica
del Condado de Lake, clases para padres de Full Circle, Ski Cooper, the
Leadville Trail 100 Legacy Foundation, y Leadville/Lake County FireRescue.

In Kind
contributions
In Kind contributions are
gifts of goods or services
(not cash) to our program.
To count as In Kind
donations, the goods must be
something that has purpose
or value to the program that
program would normally pay
for if it was not donated.
Donations of volunteer time
by parents or community
members usually count as In
Kind donations.
Non-federal Match
Head Start is a federally funded
grant program. As a requirement of
the grant, Head Start is required to
obtain a 25% local match from In
Kind contributions. If our match is
not met, our program loses operating
funds.
For 2016-2017, the amount we must
raise for our match is $137,956.00.
Much of this we receive through
donated services from Lake County
School District and local agencies,
such as Lake County Public Health,
Full Circle parenting classes, Ski
Cooper, the Leadville Trail 100
Legacy Foundation, and Leadville/
Lake County Fire-Rescue.
Of course, this match could
not be met without the help of
families who donate their time
in support of their children’s
educational goals.
Some of the activities you do
to help meet the goal are
volunteering in your child’s
classroom, serving on
committees, attending Family
Fun Night meetings, and
working on your Practice Pack
activities.
Every time you sign in to a
meeting or return the In kind
form from your Practice Pack,
we get a little closer to
fulfilling our match.
