THE APOSTLES CREED
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and of earth:
and in Jesus (☨) Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by
the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried: He descended into hell; the third
day He rose again from the dead, He ascended into heaven, and sitteth
at the right hand of God, the Father, almighty, from thence He shall
come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the
Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of
the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
THE OUR FATHER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as

thy help or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this
confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I
come, before thee I kneel, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word
Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

SAINT MICHAEL PRAYER
Saint Michael the Archangel,
Defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares
of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do Thou, O
Prince of the Heavenly Host - by the Power of God - cast into hell, Satan
and all the evil spirits, who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of
souls. Amen.
HAIL HOLY QUEEN
Hail Holy Queen,
Mother of Mercy, our life our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve; To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning
and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, O most gracious advocate, thine
eyes of mercy toward us and after this our exile show unto us the blessed
fruit of thy womb, Jesus (☨). O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!

THE FATIMA PRAYERS
My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love Thee! I ask pardon of Thee for
those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope, and do not love Thee.
Most Holy Trinity, Father (☨), Son, and Holy Ghost,
I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood,
Soul and Divinity of Jesus (☨) Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the
world, in reparation for all the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by
which He Himself is offended. And through the infinite merits of His
Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the
conversion of poor sinners. Amen.
O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee!
My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
O Jesus (☨), I offer this for love of Thee,
for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation
for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH (often recited after the Rosary)
To thee, O blessed Joseph, do we have recourse in our tribulation and,
having implored the help of thy thrice-holy spouse, we confidently invoke
thy patronage also. By that charity wherewith thou wast united to the
Immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and by that fatherly affection with which
thou didst embrace the Child Jesus (☨), we beseech thee and we humbly pray,
that thou wouldst look graciously upon that inheritance which Jesus (☨)
Christ hath purchased by His blood, and assist us in our needs by thy power
and strength. Most watchful Guardian of the Holy Family, protect the chosen
offspring of Jesus (☨) Christ. Keep far from us, O most loving father, all
blight of error and corruption. Mercifully assist us from heaven, O most
mighty defender, in this our conflict with the powers of darkness. And even
as of old thou didst rescue the Child Jesus from the supreme peril of His life,
so now defend God’s holy Church from the snares of the enemy and from all
adversity. Keep us one and all under thy continual protection, that we may be
supported by thine example and thine assistance, may be enabled to lead a
holy life, die a happy death, and come at last to the possession of everlasting
blessedness in heaven. Amen.

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible
and ineffable Name of God be forever praised, blessed, loved, adored and
glorified in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of

PRAYER OF ST. GERTRUDE THE GREAT
O Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son
Jesus (☨), in union with all the Masses said throughout the world today, for
all the holy souls in Purgatory, and for sinners everywhere: for sinners in
the Universal Church, for those in my own home and for those within my
family. Amen. (repeat as many times as desired)
ACTS OF FAITH, HOPE AND CHARITY
O my God! I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three divine Persons, the
Father (☨), the Son, and the Holy Ghost. I believe that Thy divine Son became
man, and died for our sins, and that He will come to judge the living and the
dead. I believe these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches,
because Thou hast revealed them, Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived.
O my God! relying on Thy infinite goodness and promises, I hope to obtain
pardon of my sins, the help of Thy grace, and life everlasting, through the
merits of Jesus (☨) Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.

PRAYERS TO SAINT VINCENT FERRER
“Whatever you do, think not of yourself, but of God.”
O glorious Apostle and wonder-worker, Saint Vincent Ferrer, new Angel
of the Apocalypse and our loving patron, receive our humble prayer, and
send down upon us a plentiful shower of divine favors. By the fire of
love in thy heart, obtain for us from the Father of mercies the pardon and
remission of all our sins, steadfastness in faith, and perseverance in good
works, that so we may live as good and fervent Christians and become
worthy of thy powerful patronage. Extend thy protection to our bodies
also, and deliver us from sickness. Keep our fields from hurtful tempests
and storms of hail, and banish all misfortune from us. Blessed by thy
favors both in body and soul, we shall ever be thy devoted clients, and
one day we shall come to heaven to join with thee in praising God
through all eternity. Amen.
O Saint Vincent Ferrer, glorious worker of miracles, who in thy lifetime
didst convert to many sinners by preaching the Last Judgment, grant that
we too, by meditating on the Four Last Things, may be enabled to obtain
from Almighty God through thine powerful intercession the healing of
all our spiritual maladies. Let thy heart be tender toward us, O mighty
Saint: stretch forth thy hand over us, and obtain for us those graces for
the welfare of both soul and body, which we so earnestly ask of thee.

A Method of Praying
the Holy Rosary
by St. Louis de Montfort
This prayer is a way of commemorating the life,
death and glory of Jesus and Mary in the Most
Holy Rosary. It is a way to curb our imagination
and to lessen distractions. In order to do this, we
must add a word or two to each Hail Mary, and
this helps remind us which mystery we are
commemorating. This word (or words) should be
recited after the word “Jesus”, and thus we pray
“And blessed is the fruit of Thy womb...”
1st Joyful, for each Hail Mary, add “ ...........Jesus incarnate.”
2nd Joyful, for each Hail Mary, add “ ..........Jesus sanctifying.”

EL CREDO
Creo en Dios Padre todopoderoso, creador del cielo y de la tierra. Creo en
Jesucristo, su único Hijo, nuestro Señor. Fue concebido por obra y gracia del
Espíritu Santo y nació de la Virgen María. Padeció bajo el poder de Poncio
Pilato. Fue crucificado, muerto y sepultado. Descendió a los infiernos. Al
tercer día resucitó de entre los muertos. Subió a los cielos, y está sentado a la
diestra de Dios Padre. Desde allí ha de venir a juzgar a vivos y muertos.

The Agony in the Garden

from the sacrifice He was about to make; when, His soul shrinking from the
sight, and His precious blood flowing from every pore at the vision of the torture
and death He was to undergo, at thy own sufferings, dear Mother, at the future
sufferings of His Church, and at His own sufferings in the Blessed Sacrament,

Los Misterios Dolorosos
La Agonía en el Huerto
V. Oh afligida Madre, Virgen María, yo medito ahora el misterio de la Oración de Nuestro
Señor en el huerto de Getsemaní, donde sudó sangre. Al contemplar Jesús los
pecados del mundo que el demonio le mostró para tentarle a no seguir el sacrificio que
estaba próximo a padecer, infundiéndose en su alma el temor por cuanto veía, y
cuando todo su bendito cuerpo sudó sangre ante la visión de las torturas y muerte que
Él tendría, tus sufrimientos, oh Madre querida, los futuros padecimientos de Su Iglesia,
y los que Él mismo sufriría en el Santísimo Sacramento, Él lloró y exclamó: "Oh Padre,
aleja de mi este cáliz, si es posible", pero inmediatamente, conformándose con la
voluntad de Su Padre, Él, de nuevo exclamó: "No se haga mi voluntad, sino la Tuya".
Yo humildemente te ofrezco:

La Flagelación
V. Oh afligida Madre, Virgen María, medito ahora el Misterio de la flagelación de Nuestro
Señor. Obedeciendo las órdenes de Pilato, los sicarios arrancaron las vestiduras de Tu
Hijo, le ataron a la columna, infligiéndole crueles azotes desde la cabeza hasta los
pies, lacerando así todo su bendito cuerpo hasta dejarle completamente débil.

La Corona de Espinas
V. Oh afligida Madre, Virgen María, medito ahora el Misterio de la Corona de Espinas de
Nuestro Señor. Los soldados buscaron agudas espinas y tejiendo con ellas una corona
la ciñeron sobre las sienes de Nuestro Señor. No terminó aquí la crueldad. Volvieron a
azotarle y a golpearle para que las espinas penetraran e hirieran cada vez más su
bendita cabeza. Luego, en medio de las mofas y burlas despiadadas, los soldados se
arrodillaban ante el Señor vociferando en tono de burla: ¡Salve, Rey de los Judíos!

Jesús con la Cruz a Cuestas
V. Oh afligida Madre, Virgen María, medito ahora el Misterio de la Cruz a Cuestas, que es
cuando tu Divino Hijo cargando sobre sus hombros la pesada Cruz, débil y sufrido,
entre los desprecios de las turbas y no obstante haber caído en tierra repetidas veces,
llegó hasta el Calvario con sus verdugos. Yo humildemente te ofrezco:

La Crucifixión y Muerte de Nuestro Señor
V. Oh afligida Madre, Virgen María, medito ahora el Misterio de la Crucifixión. Después

expiró después de tres horas de agonía, y durante ese tiempo, oraba ante su Padre

La Resurrección

La Asunción a Los Cielos de Nuestra Santísima Madre

separándose del cuerpo; subió hasta su Dios, quién por el amor infinito que tenía a Su
Madre cuyo virginal cuerpo fue Su primer tabernáculo en la tierra, lo llevó a los cielos y allí
en medio de los ángeles y santos, lo unió a Tu alma bendita. Yo humildemente te ofrezco:

La Coronación de Nuestra Santísima Madre
V. Oh gloriosa Madre, Virgen María, medito ahora el Misterio de Tu Coronación en los
cielos. Cuando llegastes a los cielos te pusieron tres Coronas. Dios Padre te coronó
como Reina del Cielo; Dios Hijo te coronó como la más amada de entre todas las
criaturas y de entre todas las mujeres; y Dios Espíritu Santo te coronó como su Esposa
Inmaculada; la más perfecta adoradora de la Beatísima Trinidad. Ruega por nuestra
causa como nuestra más poderosa y misericordiosa Madre.

The Fifty Four Day Rosary Novena
The 54 Day Rosary Novena dates back over a hundred years to an apparition of the Blessed
Virgin Mary in Naples, Italy. A young girl, Fortuna Agrelli, daughter of a commander, lay
close to death. She had been suffering terribly for thirteen months. Renowned physicians
had abandoned hope, but the suffering youth and her desperate family, placing all
confidence in their heavenly Mother, began a novena of Rosaries on 16 February 1884.
They persevered for two weeks and their prayers seemingly passed unanswered. But the cry
of undaunted faith, finally piercing the clouds, forced the gates of Heaven.
On the third day of March, the Queen of the most Holy Rosary appeared to the afflicted
child in marvelous beauty, sitting on a high throne decorated with flowers. The Infant
Jesus was on her lap. Mother and Child, clad in gold embroidered garments, were
accompanied by Saint Dominic and Saint Catherine of Siena.
Holding a Rosary in her hand, Our Lady looked with tender compassion upon the poor
sufferer, who cried from the depths of her tired heart, "Queen of the Holy Rosary, be
gracious to me; restore me to health! I have already prayed to thee in a novena, O Mary,
but have not yet experienced thy aid. I am so anxious to be cured!"
"Child," responded the Blessed Virgin, "thou hast invoked me by various titles and hast
always obtained favors from me. Now, since thou hast called me by that title so pleasing to
me, 'Queen of the Holy Rosary,' I can no longer refuse the favor thou dost petition; for this
name is most precious and dear to me. Make three novenas, and thou shalt obtain all."
Pope Leo XIII was deeply moved by the report of this miracle by Our Lady, wrought
through the power of her Holy Rosary. He indulgenced the novena, and in many of his
encyclicals, urged upon all the faithful a strong devotion and love for the Holy Rosary.
Again the Queen of the Holy Rosary appeared
to Fortuna and said, "Whoever desires to
obtain favors from me should make three
novenas of the prayers of the Rosary in
petition, and three novenas in
thanksgiving." Thus began the devotion
now known as the 54 Day Novena which
consists of five decades of the Rosary each
day for twenty seven consecutive days in
petition, followed immediately by five
decades each day for twenty seven
consecutive days in thanksgiving, whether
you have obtained the favor or not.
On the first day, meditate on the Joyful
Mysteries, on the second, the Sorrowful, and
on the third, the Glorious. Continue alternating
the Mysteries throughout the 27 days of
petition and 27 days of thanksgiving.
