A Joyous Event at St. Agnes
Deacon Robert Gross, a member of St. Agnes Parish, will be ordained a Priest on Saturday, May
17th,2014 at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and
Paul by Archbishop Chaput. His first Mass is at St
Agnes on Sunday, May 18th at 2:30 PM, followed by a light recep on in the cafeteria.
Gratitude to all at the Villa Maria Academy Lower
School who assisted in raising $2,989.00 through
their Mission Fair! Thank you for allowing us to be
the stewards of your gifts to assist the poor who
come to the Church in need. The students at Villa
Maria strive to follow the example of the Immacu‐
late Heart of Mary charism of creative hope, love
and fidelity. Love, Charity in the true sense, always
points to Christ present in our world. A simple act
of charity still gives birth to Hope. The faculty and
students of Villa Maria Academy Lower School are
to be commended for their good work and gener‐
osity toward our neighbors who are in difficult cir‐
cumstances.
We are the Church! We feed the hungry, we
heal the sick, we welcome the stranger. We
live the Faith!
All are invited to join him at this special me and
rejoice with Fr. Robert Gross, his family and our
Parish community at St. Agnes.
Pray for Fr. Gross and new vocaƟons to the
Priesthood.
FAITH WILL TELL US GOD IS PRESENT
"Give thanks to God the Father for having
given you His divine Son not only as Bother in
the Incarnation, as Teacher of the Truth, and
as Savior on the Cross, but especially as your
Eucharist, your Bread of life, your heaven already begun...(St. Peter Julian Eymard)
O COME LET US ADORE HIM!
Adoration every Wednesday following the
8 a.m. Mass in the chapel.
Concluding at 8 in the evening.

The message of Fatima is simple: Pray.
Looking for a Few Good Men and Women
Are you seeking a way to serve your parish and to thank
God for His goodness to you? We need your help to
care for our beautiful parish, in particular, our sacred
and beautiful Church.
We are hoping to form a “Guardian Ministry” group
who might gather for prayer on Thursday and Friday
evenings in the upper church, perhaps from 6:30 to 7:00
p.m. After prayer it would be their responsibility to
make sure the Church is secure and to lock up for the
evening. This would require mature men and women
who can make a firm commitment and understand that
this would be a sacred trust.
Those interested in serving Our Lord in this particular ministry should contact Father Al for further
direction.

no podemos subir allí?
Porque tú nos has amado te has abajado viniendo a nuestro lado; amándote, nosotros subiremos a .
Come, Holy Spirit!
On Saturday, May 10, 2014, the following members of our parish community received the Sacrament of Confirmation at the hands
