INFANT BAPTISMS
For children under 8 years of age, the sacrament is celebrated the
FIRST Sunday of the month at 2:00 pm. The par ents must r egister in the parish office at least 4 weeks prior to the baptism. Both
parents and godparents are expected to attend one catechetical session
in
advance, on the Wednesday before the baptism, at 7:00 pm.
SACRAMENTS OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION
Before being fully initiated into the sacramental life of the Church,
children over the age of 8 will need catechetical pr epar ation
through the RCIC process. Teenagers and adults will participate in
separate RCIA pr ocesses.
CONFIRMATION and COMMUNION
For those already baptized, preparation for these Sacraments will take
place according to the person’s age and knowledge of the Catholic
Faith. For further information contact the Office of Faith Formation
Program.
MARRIAGES
Couples should contact the parish office at least six months in
advance to make the pr oper ar r angements for the Sacr ament of
Matrimony.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Please contact the parish office.
RECONCILIATION
A priest is available for Confessions on Saturday afternoon from
3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. You can also make an individual appointment.

EL BAUTISMO DE NIÑOS
Solamente para los niños menores de los 8 años de edad, se celebra
el sacramento el SEGUNDO y el CUARTO domingo del mes a las
2:00 pm. Es preciso que los padres se inscriban en la parroquia por
lo menos 4 semanas antes del bautismo. Ambos padres y padrinos
deberán asistir a una instrucción catequética, la noche del Miercoles
anterior al bautizo a las 7:00 pm.
SACRAMENTOS DE LA INICIACIÓN CRISTIANA
Con el propósito de participar plenamente en la vida sacramental de
la Iglesia, los niños mayores de los 8 años de edad, necesitarán
prepararse en el proceso de Iniciación Cristiana Para Niños. Los
jóvenes y los adultos se preparán separadamente en el proceso del
RICA.
CONFIRMACIÓN Y COMUNIÓN
La preparación para estos Sacramentos se cumple según la edad de
la persona y su conocimiento de la Fe Católica. Para más información comunicarse con la Oficina de Formación de la Fe.
MATRIMONIOS
La pareja deberá hacer su solicitud en el despacho pastoral por los
menos seis meses antes de la fecha de la boda, para entrevistarse
con el sacerdote e iniciar la preparación matrimonial.
UNCIÓN DE LOS ENFERMOS
Comunicarse con el despacho pastoral.
RECONCILIACIÓN
El Sacramento se celebra semanalmente los sábados de 3:30 pm a
4:30 pm. También se puede fijar una cita para la Confesión otro día
de la semana con un sacerdote.

FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
Dear Parishioners,
In these last weeks of May, the church is in Ordinary Time but we are celebrating extraordinary solemnities
this Sunday and next Sunday. This Sunday is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. Next Sunday we celebrate
Corpus Christi. The Holy Trinity is another title for God. It refers to revelation that there is one God in three
divine persons whom are named Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Catechism #253). God reveals the nature of himself
but our human minds can only grow in understanding. We will never fully comprehend the awesome reality of
God. We all can give him praise and adoration because in his greatness he loves us without limit.
This Sunday in our parish we also are giving special attention to the beautiful example and message of Our Lady
of Fatima. Mary is the model of the response we should give to the Almighty God. The Feast Day of Our Lady of
Fatima was on Friday, May 13th. We have been saying the Novena to Our Lady of Fatima each day since May 15th
and will end on Monday, May 23rd. This Sunday, the Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be carried
into our church at the 12 pm Mass as part of the Blue Army tour of Peace. We will meditate and pray asking Our
Lady to help us to come closer to Jesus, the second person of the Holy Trinity. Mary is the perfect example of humble offering of oneself in love to God. Let us heed the message she gave us at Fatima to convert, repent and pray.
Let us kneel in adoration before the Holy Trinity with the help of our Blessed Mother and thereby come to
know a little bit more the wonderful mercy, peace and love of God.

Queridos Feligreses:
En estas últimas semanas de mayo, la iglesia está en tiempo ordinario, pero estamos celebrando solemnidades extraordinarias este domingo y el próximo domingo. Este domingo es la Solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad. El próximo
domingo se celebra Corpus Christi. La Santísima Trinidad es otro título para Dios. Se refiere a la revelación de que hay
un solo Dios en tres personas divinas las cuales llevan el nombre Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo (Catecismo # 253). Dios
revela la naturaleza de sí mismo, pero nuestra mente humana sólo puede crecer en la comprensión. Nunca vamos a
comprender plenamente la realidad sobrecogedora de Dios. Todos le podemos dar alabanza y adoración porque en su
grandeza nos ama sin límite.
Este domingo en nuestra parroquia también estamos dando especial atención al bello ejemplo y al mensaje de Nuestra
Señora de Fátima. María es el modelo de la respuesta que debemos dar al Dios Todopoderoso. El día de Nuestra Señora
de Fátima fue el viernes 13 de mayo. Hemos estado rezando la Novena a la Virgen de Fátima cada día desde el 15 de
mayo y terminaremos el lunes 23 de mayo. Este domingo la estatua Peregrina de la Virgen de Fátima arribará en nuestra
iglesia para la misa de las 12 pm como parte de la gira de la Paz del Ejército Azul. Vamos a meditar y orar pidiendo a la
Virgen que nos ayude a acercarnos a Jesús, la segunda persona de la Santísima Trinidad. María es el perfecto ejemplo de
humilde ofrecimiento de sí mismo en el amor a Dios. Hagamos caso al mensaje que nos dio en Fátima para convertirnos,
arrepentirnos y orar.
Arrodillémonos en adoración ante la Santa Trinidad con la ayuda de nuestra Madre Santísima
y de este modo llegar a conocer un poco más la misericordia maravillosa, la paz y el amor de Dios.
